What is Glyco-Flex
Glyco-Flex is a renowned line of joint supplements for dogs, cats, and horses by Vetri-Science Laboratories. Many of their products contain glucosamine, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), Green Lipped Mussel (perna canaliculus), vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to help protect joint health, prevent cartilage breakdown, and improve mobility.
Glyco-Flex has products for dogs and cats that provide three different levels of joint support (Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced). Glyco-Flex I is recommended by veterinarians for dogs, puppies, and kittens that need joint support early on in their lives. The canine formula includes Green Lipped Mussel, glucosamine, and DMG. Glyco-Flex II has the same ingredients in greater quantities and added MSM and manganese for pets that need moderate joint support. Glyco-Flex III is the third stage in Vetri-Science's line of comprehensive joint supplements. It contains the highest concentrations of glucosamine, MSM, Green Lipped Mussel, DMG, as well as vitamins E and C, manganese, grape seed extract, L-glutathione, and selenium. These ingredients work together to help reduce joint pain and inflammation, improve mobility, and protect cartilage from further damage. These three levels of Glyco-Flex are available as chewable tablets or soft chews.
Vetri-Science also manufactures Glyco-Flex in two different strengths for horses that have need for either mild or severe joint support. Glyco-Flex EQ and Glyco-Flex II EQ are available in palatable powders and pellets. Each strength contains perna canaliculus (Green Lipped Mussel), and the more potent Glyco-Flex II EQ has added glucosamine, MSM, and manganese. These supplements may help maintain your horse's joint health, relieve arthritis symptoms, and improve mobility.
The different products in the Glyco-Flex line are geared toward different life stages and the level of joint support needed. All of the formulas work to help protect cartilage, synovial fluid, ligaments, and tendons. Consult with your veterinarian to find out which supplement is best for your pet.
