    Description

Order Rimadyl to treat arthritis and postoperative pain in dogs

If your dog has trouble staying active and experiences discomfort due to osteoarthritis, Rimadyl (Carprofen) 25mg, 60 Chewable Tablets can help. The active ingredient in Rimadyl, carprofen, inhibits enzymes that cause inflammation. This makes Rimadyl an excellent choice for treating arthritis pain or as an option to control postoperative pain following soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.

Just one dose of Rimadyl is able to provide pain relief for up to 24 hours. This effectiveness, along with the fact that the medication is available in either caplet or liver-flavored chewable tablet form, is what makes Rimadyl the number one prescribed NSAID for pain management in dogs.

    Directions

For oral administration, the manufacturer's recommended dose is 2 mg of Rimadyl per 1 lb of bodyweight (4.4 mg/kg) given every 24 hours. However, the dose can be divided and given every 12 hours as 1 mg per 1 lb of bodyweight (2.2 mg/kg). However, always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions for administering Rimadyl to your pet.

Remember, Rimadyl Caplets and Chewable Tablets are for use in dogs only. Do not administer to cats or other animals. Keep out of reach of pets and children.

I am so thankful for a product that works as well as Rimadyl. I don't think my "old man" Boston Terrier would be able to walk without it.
