My pit bull mastiff mix has had skin issues since he turned about 9 months old. Frequent sore looking red spots and itching have plagued him. Possible allergies but we have not been able to pinpoint the exact cause. After repeated antibiotic treatments and using this shampoo, he is doing much better. We are using the shampoo every 2-3 weeks now and he has no red or sore spots. He smells like fresh strawberries after bathing him in this.

When your dogs scratch all day, you just want to get them relief! We bought Dynovite, which only made them smell like a walking fish and the itching never stopped. Took them to our vet and she suggested PhytoVet CK. As soon as we got our girls home, I threw them in the tub. The itching stopped and no itching for weeks. The gallon size was the best offer, as you can get 16 oz from Amazon for about the same amount of money. Also, if you have a Sally's in your area, go buy a pump. Its so much easier! I will never buy another shampoo!!

I really like this shampoo. We use it all the time in Westie Rescue, and those poor dogs have a lot of skin problems. I like this shampoo better than virbec and malaseb.. and it smells good!

    Cons:
We have a pit bull with recurring allergy issues and this shampoo helps keep him from being rashed out and reduces his scratching. We have to bathe our 105 lb baby once a week, so the cost savings in buying this product by the gallon is nice. It was way more spendy from the vet. Great product. Great price.

    Pros:
    • Nice smell and works well
    Cons:
    • My cat is not very fond of taking a bath. HA.
This cleared up my cat's fungal skin infection quickly and stopped the itching and hair loss she was suffering from. I will keep using it.
