Quality High Calorie Supplement for Dogs !

    Rating:
    Pros:
    Cons:
I used Nutrical when my dog was a puppy that was eight years ago. I am using this supplement again for my dog:now for different reasons. As a puppy I used Nutrical to provide my puppy the best essential nutrients. Now my toy Pom/Poodle is using Nutrical & will be using this supplement the rest of his life as he has Atypical Addisons disease. Along with a shot every month & a Prednisolone tab every day he has his teaspoon of Nutrical to provide a normal quality of life. We also have used a finger tip of Nutrical along with Karro Syrup in controlling his blood glucose [in times of emergency]. This supplement has been an adjunct to our dogs treatment that covers: weight loss or failure to gain weight, weakness, depression, and shaking or shivering.

    Rating:
    Pros:
    • Good taste.
    Cons:
    • Can't get all of it out of the tube.
I got this for my pregnant dog and was very pleased with every aspect of it. So, when my older dog stopped eating due to age and some minor health conditions, I began giving her this to supplement her diet.

    Great to have on hand

    Cons:
I do dog rescue, and often get in new dogs who are sickly, emaciated, or lackluster about eating. Even when they turn up their noses at everything else, they will lick up some Nutrical. That helps them through the hard period instead of continuing to deteriorate. And it's great for getting them to take their medications... a few little pills stuck into the Nutrical "goo" get lapped up fast!
