MaxiGuard Oral Cleansing Gel, 4 oz cleans your pet's mouth, helps reduce and prevent plaque buildup that can lead to tartar and periodontal disease, freshens breath, and soothes oral inflammation. MaxiGuard Oral Gel is recommended for after oral surgery and before and after dental visits.
I have used this product on three of my toy poodles. In my opinion the results are: controls breath & plaque.
I've tried similar products, but this is by far the best. Well tolerated by my fussy cat.
This oral cleansing gel was recommended by my dog's vet and it seems to keep the plaque at bay. I have recommended this to friends.
Excellent product that really works
I was thrilled to find a dental rinse that did not contain chlorhexidine. This product contains only natural ingredients but it really works. I have two Siamese cats and one of them was developing some gingivitis. Her mouth has definitely improved since I have been using the MaxiGuard every day. And, it is very easy to use. Just one drop on either side of her gums and that's it.
I purchased Maxi Guard Oral Cleansing gel for my two miniature dachshunds. My younger doxie is only 4 yrs old but has browning on her back teeth. My older doxie is 8 yrs old and just starting to get brown on her back teeth. Thought I'd try it. My 8 yr old loves it and will let me brush her teeth with the gel or she will lick it right out of the bottle. My 4 yr old tries to run away and hide. I see a little improvement, but actually only started using this about 1 1/2 weeks ago. It really has no odor and no taste. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will work soon and remove the brown from the teeth.
