My dogs have been on Hydroxyzine for some time now for allergies. Since I have multiple dogs on it cost is something I pay attention to. My old Vet suggested I cost compare just like I would for myself. Sure enough Vet Depot was less costly. We recently moved and just out of curiosity I asked the new vet the cost and 60 pills vs 100 from Vet Depot is 3 x's the cost.

Vet Depot is great about sending requests to my Vet when meds need to renew and my Vet loves the convenience of being able to fax the script over.

Only down size, is sometimes a different manufacturer has a different size pill and it through me off and I need to re check the bottles. MINOR challenge and one that helps me stay on my toes to make sure I am giving my pets the right meds.

In my opinion this is a WIN - WIN - WIN

My dog has severe allergies, resulting in respiratory inflammation and coughing and choking. Benadryl did not help, but Hydroxyzine keeps it in control.

I bought this product from Veodepot and find it works as well as what I was getting from my vet. The BIG difference is I can get double the product for less than half the price of the amount I was paying at the vets. My pet has been on it over a week and everything is going great. Since my pet is a diabetic every bit of savings it good for me and Leo. Thank You for helping me and Leo out. We need as many price breaks in todays economy as we can get. Linda.

Hydroxyzine HCl 25 mg, 100 Tablets

    Pros:
    Cons:
My dog has been on hydroxyzine for allergies for almost a year, and until now we had been overpaying by getting it through the vet. Finally, we got smart and ordered it through VetDepot. The price is unbeatable, customer service was fantastic, and the prescription was received very fast. The brand is different from what we had been receiving and these are a little larger (and thus the reason for the 1 star deduction), but they work fine and our dog hasn't had a breakout since being on them. Overall, I'm very happy with the customer service and product.

Hydroxyzine is the cheaper version of Atarax. It is great if your pet has seasonal or year-round allergies.
