Heartgard for Dogs up to 25 lbs, 6 Month (Blue) is a monthly, oral medication that protects against heartworms and heartworm disease. The ivermectin in Heartgard petmeds is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic that kills heartworm larvae in the tissue stage. Beef-flavored chewables make it easy to protect your dog year-round from heartworm, not just during mosquito season.
Dog didn't mind, no smell, that works for me!

I usually order the chewables but this time I ordered the tablets by mistake. I was worried my dog would reject it. But I realized it doesn't have a strong medicine like smell. So I ground it to a powder and mixed it with some ground beef, my dog lapped it up! So all good!

Good price and fast service
Easy to place an order since all my dogs info and vet info is saved in my account. As soon as my vet approves my order it's shipped to my home. Love the price and convenience. Thanks Vet Depot
We are very pleased with the Heartguard we received from Vet Depot. Our vet changed to a small pill for heart worm and our dog hated it. We had to cut it up and force it down his throat. and sometimes he threw it back up. A friend told me about Vet Depot and I called and ordered Heartguard which my dog has no trouble with. I liked that they called the vet and got the prescription.
This site and product couldn't have been easier. I searched, I found, I ordered, I fed. It was that simple. I had an absolute flawless experience with this company and will continue to as long as I own a dog.
Thank you VetDepot.
We have two Bouvs who consider this product 'a treat', therefore easily given. They 'inhale' them :) Since the dogs are over 100lbs, they need the larger dose as well, so it's like giving them two 'treats'. Lucky us :) (and them). Thank you VetDepot for offering your customers this product at such a good price.
