Cephalexin is the cephalosporin antibiotic in Fish Flex Forte (Cephalexin) 500 mg, 30 Capsules that is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. In fish, cephalexin is used to treat common bacterial infections, aeromonas, and gill diseases. When prescribed for cats and dogs, Fish Flex is used to treat respiratory and urinary tract infections.
