    Description

Joint supplements that taste like treats

Dasuquin Large Dog, 150 Soft Chews is a nutritional supplement for dogs designed to support cartilage production and joint health by blocking certain enzymes responsible for breaking down the cartilage in your pet's joints. This supplement does this with its combination of glucosamine, chondroitin, and ASU (avocado/soybean unsaponifiables). Dasuquin is the only joint supplement with ASU, and studies have shown that the three ingredients work better than glucosamine and chondroitin by themselves.

Wear and tear on your pet's joints can limit their ability to run, play, and climb. This can severely affect their quality of life, but Dasuquin Soft Chews support joint health and help protect mobility. Even pets that currently take prescription pain relievers like Rimadyl or Previcox may benefit from Dasuquin. Ask your veterinarian today.

    Directions

    Initial Period (4-6 Weeks)

    Weight Dosage
60 to 120 lbs. 2 soft chews daily

    Maintenance (After Initial Period)

    Weight Dosage
60 to 120 lbs. 1 soft chew daily

If your dog responds sooner to Dasuquin than 4-6 weeks, you may lower their dose to the Maintenance Level. Once you see consistent improvement at the Maintenance Level, you may further reduce the dose to every other day. Dogs on the Maintenance Level may have their dose increased as needed e.g. weekends or other times when they are more active.

    RECOMMENDED BY MY DOG'S VET

    Rating:
    Pros:
    • effective
    • easy to administer
    Cons:
    • price
I have three older dogs, two of which are large (70 and 85 lbs). Several years ago, they started exhibiting hip problems (reluctant to use stairs, difficulty getting up onto the couch/bed, etc.) The vet I use SPECIFICALLY recommended Dasuquin soft chews. Both dogs have now been taking it every day with their evening meal. I just toss it in with their food, and they evidently like it, because they eat it. Since they've been on it, their hip problems seem much better.
