This is the least expensive source of Novox I found, by far. Some have complained their dogs don't like the taste, but I toss it in my dog's food, and she chomps it down with the rest. Haven't used it long enough to see if it works as well as Rimadyl, but I assume it will.

I applaud any supplier that helps make needed meds affordable for those of us who have limited "disposable" income. The only reason for four stars is that my precious pooch has needs beyond what Novox is able to do for him. Not Novox's fault for sure but we still experience discomfort and a bit of lameness due to an organic situation that only surgery can fix. Keep up the good work. Next review will be 5 stars I'm sure.

My older dogs no longer limp and cry as long as I give them Novox daily. They used to get Rimadyl chewables which is much more expensive even though it was easier to give to them. With Novox I get twice as many for the same price. I just crush the tablets and put them in a tiny peanut butter sandwich...they love it and are none the wiser :) Now they can run and play just as they used to.

Novox works just as well as Rimadyl. My dog, Jodi, pulled a ligament in her back leg last year. The vet recommended Novox and Jodi does great when she uses it. I had use Rimadyl for my other dog before she died and it cost us a bundle. Novox works just as well for a much better price. I also appreciate VetDepot's customer service both by email and on the phone.

The one thing our vet said about going to generic versus brand was that our dog may prefer the Rimadyl because of the liver flavored chewable tablets. In reality, she wouldn't eat them without being disguised in something else. These Novox caplets are much smaller, still disguised and she has no trouble with them at all. Definitely a savings over the branded equivalent!
