11 yr-old Lab Mix Now Keeps Up w/ 18-mo.-old Boxer Mix
Our old dog and our young dog play and run together in our back yard a good part of each day. Thanks to Novox, we have seen a marked improvement in our older dog's ability to keep up with our pup. I would be remiss not to mention how easy Pet Depot is to work with. After acquiring the initial Rx, they contact your vet for you for each subsequent order. It's a cinch!
My 12 yo black lab was put on Rimadyl to help with his hip pain. Even with the reward program, was pretty pricey. I sought a generic alternative online, since my vet does not offer that form of medication from the office. (Vet is very cooperative about providing Rx for this.) THIS PRODUCT IS WONDERFUL! I just put the small pill in his food at meal time, and he eats it w/o out a problem, so the absence of pill flavoring is moot. Truly a win-win situation!

We have a chronic pain German Shepherd, who takes Rimadyl and Tramadol daily, as well as Adequan injections every few days. We were spending a fortune at out vet office every month on Rimadyl, so he suggested we try Novox and it has worked great and saved us almost $100 a month!
This was the best value for Carprofen I could find. Other reviewers said their dogs won't accept Novox since it doesn't have good tasting ingredients added like Rimadyl. I just toss it in with my dog's food, and she gobbles it up along with everything else, so I'm lucky I guess.
I first ordered from VetDepot because of the low price. The second order was because of the great service on the first order and fast, free shipping. Will reorder from VetDepot when needed. My 15 year old Lab/mix is slowing down, but the Novox helps ease his arthritis and hip pain and helps him move a bit easier. Thank you.

Our vet prescribed Rimadyl to our 11-year old German Shepherd, Duke, who is getting up there in age and is beginning to have hip issues. Rimadyl was way too expensive, so we're very pleased we found Novox at VetDepot.com. Duke is definitely moving around better and overall has a much better attitude. He isn't in any pain and still goes out and chases the ball. Much slower, of course, but he is doing it. Very pleased with this medication and recommend it.
My 10 year old GSP had an ACL injury while playing with my 10-month old GSP. Because of her age she was not a good candidate for surgery. She started on Novox after the acute phase. This drug has worked wonders not only on with the ACL tendon but on her overall comfort and agility. She has so much more energy than even before the injury. I am pleased with the results. She is tolerating them well with no side-effects.
Generic Rimadyl has been prescribed by vet for arthritis condition in aging lab. This seems to make daily walks more tolerable. Having cost minimized if truly helpful.
One of our boys is getting on in years and this works so good that he is soon out playing.

Our dog blew out the ACL in both her hind legs. Of all the medicine she takes, this one is by far the most needed. When she didn't get it, she could hardly walk even with pain meds. This one is a must have for joint and ACL issues. We almost ran out before we had the money to get it but these guys were fast at confirming the prescription and shipping it out and they were the cheapest around. Extremely satisfied!
Took a while for the medicine to build up in my dog's system. But now she's running around like it doesn't even exist.
Just make sure you have your dog's blood work done at least once a year to check for liver and kidney problems associated with this medication!

My sweet dog, Honey, started using Novox a year and an half ago and has had a great deal of relief.
I have recommended it for my mother's dog, Penny.
I applaud any supplier that helps make needed meds affordable for those of us who have limited "disposable" income. The only reason for four stars is that my precious pooch has needs beyond what Novox is able to do for him. Not Novox's fault for sure but we still experience discomfort and a bit of lameness due to an organic situation that only surgery can fix. Keep up the good work. Next review will be 5 stars I'm sure.

My girl, Sadi, had used Rimadyl for about 1 year before I started using Novox and she responded well to both medicines although Norvox is less costly. And VetDepot was great when I placed my recent order of Novox then needed to change the shipping address. VetDepot responded quickly by shipping the medicine to the correct address. Thanks!
Purcased this for my Komondor Moses who is arthritic and has 2 fused discs in his spine..he is 12 years old and without Novox he wouldn't have the spring in his step that he still has and the smile on his darling face..he feels so much better when he takes Novox.

My Lila was diagnosed w severe arthritis recently and Novox was prescribed. How lucky for me that it works so amazingly and I found VetDepot to fill her prescription. After reading so many other websites information, I know I found the best product at the best prices.
This is the least expensive source of Novox I found, by far. Some have complained their dogs don't like the taste, but I toss it in my dog's food, and she chomps it down with the rest. Haven't used it long enough to see if it works as well as Rimadyl, but I assume it will.
With this product, my dog is able to walk and run w/o pain.

Now, about Novox; I had been giving my boy Rimadyl for inflammation due to hip dysplasia and he was seeing some improvement, but not as much as I had hoped for. The price of Rimadyl is very high, so I looked for other options and found Novox, and subsequently found vetdepot.com. The day after Luke (My boy) started on Novox, he was dodging around like a demented pony and just plain enjoying life. I highly recommend Novox, and even though it is supposed to be a "generic" version, it has worked twice or even three times as good as Rimadyl.

Purchased this for my 9 YO lab after the vet prescribed Rimadyl. The vet also prescribed tramadol in conjunction with the Rimadyl. She has responded well these medications and has been jumping around again like a puppy. I cut her doses in half and she has been doing well, will keep them low to minimize any adverse effects.
My older dogs no longer limp and cry as long as I give them Novox daily. They used to get Rimadyl chewables which is much more expensive even though it was easier to give to them. With Novox I get twice as many for the same price. I just crush the tablets and put them in a tiny peanut butter sandwich...they love it and are none the wiser :) Now they can run and play just as they used to.
This generic product works as great as the name-brand doggy aspirin. The price is the most affordable online.
We started giving Chewy our 14yr old 80lb chow mix Novox about 3 months ago. She was on rimadyl before that. We can't tell the difference in her mobility from swapping pills. The Rimadyl chew tabs were easier to give her since she enjoyed the liver flavor but she does fine with the pills by stuffing it into some liver snacks. Very happy all around that we get to save some money and she gets to enjoy her mobility. Service at vetdepot is one of the best.
Maxwell, our precious golden, suffers with age related aches and pains causing him to limp and moan everytime he laid down. Novox keeps him comfortable (and he maintains his alertness). It works the same as the Rimadyl did, but for much less cost. Novox is easy to break into two pieces which we toss in his kibble with a little water and he gobbles it up!
This medication has enabled my 13 year old dog to keep enjoying his walks on the beach. Before starting him on Novox he was so stove up he could barely get down the stairs to go outside. VetDepot consistently has the lowest prices and fast shipping.

Our dog Griffin is getting older and it's beginning to show. I hate to see him uncomfortable. I don't ever want him to lose his joy and stop acting silly (he's a bit of a goofball). The Novox helps with his aches and pains. The price is good in comparison to Rimadyl. We will continue to purchase this product.

Five stars because the price is much less than Rimadyl, but works equally as well. My 13 year old dog is riddled with arthritis, but on Novox he still loves running on the beach.
great results for the price
The one thing our vet said about going to generic versus brand was that our dog may prefer the Rimadyl because of the liver flavored chewable tablets. In reality, she wouldn't eat them without being disguised in something else. These Novox caplets are much smaller, still disguised and she has no trouble with them at all. Definitely a savings over the branded equivalent!

Affordable, Effective, and Easy to Administer
The Novox tablets is a product I switched to after having my dog on Rimadyl for quite some time. The Novox is so much more affordable and the pills are smaller so he is not as hesitant to take them. It definitely helps my 13 year old dog move around much easier.

Novox works just as well as Rimadyl. My dog, Jodi, pulled a ligament in her back leg last year. The vet recommended Novox and Jodi does great when she uses it. I had use Rimadyl for my other dog before she died and it cost us a bundle. Novox works just as well for a much better price. I also appreciate VetDepot's customer service both by email and on the phone.

Vet Depot has the best price I found online for this product after I did quite a bit of research. I confirmed it is the exact same product as we were getting from the vet.VetDepot has fast service, quick delivery and efficient customer service. All in all it was a good experience.
Novox is really a great, and less expensive, substitute for Rimadyl. It was also recommended by our vet as a quality product. After spending $100/month for a former pet I am glad to find something that works just as well. Really gives Jodi some relief from her pain. Now to just keep her from wanting to play ball every 30 minutes!!!

This has worked wonders with my 13 yr old foster dog!
I had run out of this medication, and my poor 10 year old shep/dane was crying and limping around the house. I called VetDepot and asked them to rush the order, and I had it very quickly--they were very helpful and responsive, calling me back to make sure everything was all set. Now, my pooch is comfortable again.
