My Vet suggested Dasuquin for my then 13 year old Border Collie. She is suffering from the long term effects of undiagnosed Lyme's. She came from BC Rescue. She sure has slowed down. At the same time as she started with Dasuquin she also went on Rimadyl. The combination has worked very well. We haven't taken her off either so it is impossible to tell what the effect is. She has always taken the pill easily either by hand or with a meal. And no digestive issues. VetDepot has been very easy to work with. And the meds come quickly. We have ordered the Rymadil here too but the Vet has been offering to match online prices. And I have to say I'd rather keep the money local.

This is an excellent product. Our Lab Mosby started having clicking in his hips at about 4 yrs of age. He is a very big Lab at 100lbs. Not fat just a large gorgeous Lab. So when we went to the Vet he started him on Dasuquin. We found it on your site for less. Dasuquin is an amazing products. Mosby has no more clicking in his hips! Highly recommend Dasuquin!

Our vet recommended these in November when my lab began limping. The price here is 1/2 what my vet charged. My dog has been taking them for 3 months, still limps after a long walk - not really sure if these are helping.

We are on our second bottle of Dasuquin for an 80lb Olde English Bulldog. I wrote a review after receiving the first bottle and complimented the low price on this site. I did not have any experience yet with the product so that was the extent of the review.
Well, here we are almost a year later and I have nothing but GREAT things to say. The price is still unbeatable and the shipping is quick from VetDepot.com.
As for the product itself. We first purchased Dasuquin because there was a clicking sound coming from the leg/knee area of our dog. We followed the recommendations on the package and after a few months, cut back to one chewable every other day instead of one per day. The clicking stopped after a few months and has not started again since. That is why we ordered the second bottle - for maintenance. It will last almost a year if given every other day.
As compared to similar products, this seems to be the best. Not only is it vet recommended but it our dog eats them like a treat - they must be delicious. Also, don't be fooled by other glucosamine/chondroitin supplements that may appear cheaper. If you look at the dosage, it requires that you give two or more pills every day! So that $20 bottle only lasts a fraction of the time that this one does and costs at least as much. Not to mention the hassle of giving pills all day.
Bottom line: This is a great product, dogs love it, VetDepot has the best price, it works! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Our vet recommended this product for our lab who was beginning to show problems with arthritis. He had been limping and wasn't running as much. Since being on Dasuquin, the limp is gone and running doesn't seem to be a problem any more. We found the best price for it at VetDepot and we will forever do our shopping for it at their website!

These tablets are terrific. Our Great Dane, Mick, is a therapy dog who weighs 170 lbs. He's had knee surgery and these supplements were recommended to us by the surgeon. Mick looks forward to taking them and we believe they make him more comfortable. At 5 years old he (thankfully) is very puppy like.

Our vet recommended Dasuquin for our Lab as it is beginning to take extra effort for him to stand up after retrieving. He has been very active his entire life and he continues to want to retrieve. He doesn't seem to know when to quit. He's 7 years old and weighs about 100 lbs; he is not overweight.
We started him on Dasuquin as soon as we received them and it seems to have started to work almost instantly. The real test will be once the snow clears and we can do some retrieving.

I contacted my vet about my 11 year old german shepherd who was having increasing difficulty getting around. I had him on a similar product from another company, but it just wasn't doing the trick any more. He recommended this specific product. I searched online and found VetDepot to be the least expensive. I didn't want to put him on narcotics, so I ordered it. I have noticed an improvement. He is more interested in playing and he is getting around better. I would like to add some more information on my use of Dasuquin. I had been buying this product from my local vet. The business sold to another local vet. This vet raised the price of 150 chewable tablets from $80 to $100. I tried another product, Longevity, listed in a catalogue. It didn't take long for my big German Shepherd to show declining health. I located your website and ordered two bottles of Dasuquin. You are $35 cheaper than the local vet. In about a month I noticed my dog was moving better and could even get into my van all by himself.

My dog, Puckett, loves these tablets. Normally he can sniff out and spit out the tiniest, itty bitty bits of a pill. These, he will eat right out of my hand. He's been taking Dasuquin for 3 weeks and I can see that his limp is already less noticeable, and he's not waking me up groaning at night! So far, it's been a great product! Price is not bad either, for the number of tablets included.

We purchased this for our 4 year old Chocoalte Lab. She has been on different joint supplements, but we were told that this would provide better comfort. Since she has had two(2) knee surgeries, we felt the investment was well worth it. Our Vet provided us with her first bottle for $95. Now that we've found VetDepot we can give our dog the pills for a much lower price. I guess you can say it's been a much smaller pill to swallow. :)

I have an 11 year old Belgium Sheepdog (Rufus) that underwent knee surgery 2 years ago and is arthritic in both knee joints. I thought he was going through the natural aging process, "just getting old". He had difficulty walking up steps and didn't want to play anymore. After short walks he just laid around the rest of the day. A friend recommended Dasuquin. I bought it and after 4 weeks Rufus, wants to play everyday and is walking up stairs better. Although I don't believe Dasquin is a cure for arthritis, it has improved the quality of his life. Thanks

We have 2 labs and between the two of them they have had 4 separate ankle and knee surgeries. We have tried many glucosamine style products with minimal results. After our black lab had yet another knee surgery in April 2010, the vet surgeon recommended we put her on this product. It was quite expensive through them, but we were more than willing to try a product that might actually help her. He explained that the extra oil ingredients helped absorption. Well, he was right, both our dogs do extremely well on this supplement. Through VetDepot, I can get it at almost 1/2 the price of the surgeons office. I love this product and I have recommended it to others and will continue to buy it here!

Our Yellow Labrador Retriever started having hip clicking and a real problem with movement. Went to the vet and decided to get a little weight off him about 10lbs. I am lucky enough to live near a place where my dog can run on his own occasionally. For almost a year, my 8 year old Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix would come back limping every time I took him out for a run. My Vet recommended Dasuquin and within a few short weeks, the limping went away. Now at 10, people think he's a puppy!
The price may seem high, but the big jars lasts forever, and spread out over time, it's actually very little compared to the enormous amount of joy one gets from a healthy, fully functioning older pet.

I have a large breed dog (Mastiff) as she has gotten older, our vet suggested Dasuquin joint supplement. Our dog is now 10 years old and has been taking Dasuquin for about 2 years now and shows very little signs of arthritis and joint discomfort. This is a great product that I would recommend to any dog owner, especially those with large breeds. Also a note about Vet Depot, I did a lot of comparison shopping, Vet Depot not only offered 5% off your first purchase but also free shipping over a certain dollar amount. Per unit, Vet Depot offers the cheapest (good quality) Dasuquin on the market.

The price was quite a bit lower than what our vet charges and they came in the mail very quickly after placing the order. Dogs eat them right up with their meals and the stiffness in our younger dogs hips seems to be less.

My dog is a 6 1/2 year old Irish Setter bitch. When she was 2 years old and had her hip x-ray for possible OFA certification it was discovered that she had problems with her left hip. Neither her veterinarian nor the x-ray technologist who reviewed the films thought the problem was dysplasia. Rather they asked me when she injured her hip. There was no evident hip injury so it was determined that the problem occurred at birth. My holistic veterinarian suggested starting Dasuquin to minimize any pain. My dog has been taking it daily ever since and shows no evidence of pain. She runs and swims and can continuing exercising for up to two hours She does not stiffen up or limp at any time. I am thrilled with her response and plan to continue using Dasuquin for the remainder of her life.

I am on my second order of Dasuquin Large Dog Chewable Tablets. The first bottle took a few months for any noticeable improvement. But sure enough, the clicking in my dog's knee and ankle has subsided. I recently asked my vet how long it should take and he said a few months is about right. As for taste, my dog loves these and I feed one to her every day as a morning treat. The price on this site is still the best around and shipping is very quick. I am completely satisfied with this product and I plan to continue to use it as a supplement for the future and I recommend it to anyone who's pet may have joint issues or potential joint issues.

My vet recommended this over another brand and it seems to be great for our English Bulldog. He had a torn ACL and damage to another ACL so he takes this supplement to keep him strong and hopefully stave off arthritis. We have two Rottweiler's with arthritis and hip dysplasia. This has made a noticeable improvement in their activity level and ease of movement after about a month. We put the tablet in with the food and both dogs always eat it. Our vet had also recommended this product but it is much cheaper to buy through Vet Depot. Definitely worth the price and better than having the dogs on pain pills.

I got this product from my vet over a year ago for my 8 year old Lab Bailey and I can't believe what a difference it makes! He actually runs all the time now and wants to go for walks! We got our German Shepherd when she was 10 years old at a rescue. She had severe arthritis in her back (not hips) and had a lot of problems with steps and walking in general. A friend suggested Dasuquin Large Dog and we got some and give her one per day. It seems to help her as she plays somewhat with our 4 year old German Shepherd and has fewer problems with stairs. Of course we also give them good quality food and vitamins as well.
