My 9 yr old yellow lab takes this, her Vet recommended it and I bought it from their office first (about $35 more than you), we saw major improvement, very happy with the results. We tried something similar from Petco that was much cheaper but it made her worse than she originally was before starting the medication, we bought another bottle of this and in 4-5 days she was great again. Just proves that even though some of the bottles say they are the same they are not... be careful. Great product, price is great from this company and love the free shipping!!!!!
My Golden Retriever has been taking Cosequin by Nutramax for many years. When he tore his ACL on his left rear leg, we decided to put him through rehab instead of surgery. At this time, our vet moved him to Dasuquin. Nutramax makes a great product, none of the others we tried work as well as Nutramax's product. Highly recommend.
I have a fairly young lab who developed arthritis as a result of an injury in her back leg. This product, coupled w/some cold laser therapy every couple of months, has made a world of difference. She hasn't limped since we started her on a daily regimen. Best prices anywhere.

We have two labs with bad joints. About two years ago our vet advised us to change to Dasuquin, as it absorbed by the body easier? But from him and it is a fortune. Each time I purchase I SHOP AROUND. Thank you VetDepot! Plus, in my shipping box, we rec'd a free reflective leash!
My 12.5 year old lab has been on Dasuquin for almost 2 weeks, and already we're seeing some good results. I know it says 4-6 week to see results, but she's taking longer walks and getting into trouble again just like she used to! We love it! Can't wait until we make the 6 week mark and see if there is even further improvement. Will definitely be keeping her on it.
My 11 year old Golden Retriever likes the tablets and they help to maintain her mobility as she ages with painful arthritis.

Started my year old Bullmastiff on this after knee surgery, he will be on Dasuquin for the rest of his life. I tried it on my 13 year old lab who could barely walk after several injuries which left her with terrible arthritis, after about 2 months she was running again. My neighbor couldn't believe the change in "Lucy" and she started her elderly lab on this and he is now jumping and chasing a ball again! Love it!!!

Wonder Pill for My Senior Retriever
I honestly had sticker shock the first time I bought this product and was skeptical at what it could do for my 12 year old Golden's weakened back legs but I was desperate to try something that wouldn't drug her all day. The vet had put her on meds that just changed her whole demeanor. After a week on Dasuquin so many people were commenting on how different she seemed, how perky and spry. She gets up and down easier now. I stopped the tablets a month ago when I ran out and immediately saw a decline in her disposition again. We've been back on for a week again and she has returned to her happy spry state. People don't think she is 12, and I attribute a lot of it to this product. It's worth every penny. Also, she takes them like "treats".
This has been a terrific addition to the treatment regimen for our Golden's arthritis. She loves the flavor as well.

I get a MUCH better price for this on this site. Our Newfoundland dog has to have these because her back cruciate ligaments are bad. If we run out of these and she hasn't had them for a few weeks she has a lot of trouble walking. I also love this company because they are fast with shipping.

Well, for one-right now its cheaper so I feel taken. For another, its the best product on the market and our old Akita is much better once he began taking it.

My vet recommended this for my 8 year old Greyhound. It's more to keep her healthy than to improve a specific problem. It's hard to say how she would be without it, but I can say that she's a happy, spunky girl. It's hard to believe she's considered a "senior."
I will continue purchasing this for my girl.
Up to this past summer, my dog has been the best trail dog ever. If not chasing a squirrel, a deer, or a bear, he remained close while I rode my bike. This summer though was different. I had to stop and wait and wonder if I needed to turn back. While he wanted desperately to keep up, he was undeniably slower. At 12 years old, I worried about his aging.
Perhaps it was age that was the culprit which brought on the arthritis, but when my friend recommended Dasuquin, I decided to give it a try. After a few weeks, he was back to himself, chasing the squirrels and waiting ahead for me on the trail.

We started using Dasuquin on our 75lb Old English Bulldog when she was just a puppy after hearing a clicking sound coming from her hip and thigh area. Within a month or two, the clicking had subsided and we have continued the maintenance level ever since. At almost 4 years old now, we have not had any joint related issues and she is a very active dog that plays rough. She also seems to enjoy eating them just like a treat. So it seems that this product has been working very well.
At 1 1/2 years old my Bullmastiff had knee surgery, and the Vet said he would need to be on Dasuquin for the rest of his life. Its been a year and he is doing wonderful. I was ordering from another pet products web site and paying a lot more money. I am so glad I found VetDepot.
Our rescued Airedale,Chloe, is 10 years old now. She came to us when she was 3 years old and already had some hip displasia. Our veterinarian recommended a product that is no longer available; then recommended Dasuquin. For awhile we paid the very high price at the veterinarian's office. I began searching online and found Dasuquin at Vet Depot at a much more reasonable price. Chloe has taken Dasuquin for several years and although she's a little slower moving now than she used to be she still gets around quite well and does not seem to be in any discomfort. Two thumbs up for Dasuquin!
Our ortho vet recommended this product for our dog to help keep his joints in good shape. They feel this product is well absorbed compared to other products. Since the vet does surgery on dogs from all over the world we make an assumption that he knows what he is talking about!
Vet recommended this product for my Great Pyrenees (age 10). She doesn't limp, but she takes a few seconds to stand from a prone position. VetDepot's price for the pills is much more affordable than my vet's office. Product arrived in less than a week. After reading other reviews I had high hopes for immediate results, but I've not noticed any difference in her effort to stand. She's only been taking the pills for about 3 weeks so I will definitely continue the regimen. She likes the taste--I don't have to "hide" the pills for her to eat them.

I am so excited to announce that since my puppy (70 pounds ha!) has been taking DASUQUIN, she is not limping anymore.
I have a 7 yr. old Doberman that had TTA surgery on her knee last October. She started limping again in May and the vet said it was very likely arthritis in that knee and recommended Dasuquin. I had her on some liquid glucosamine prior to that which was not helping at all. I was a bit taken aback by the price of the Dasuquin, but when you look at the dosing and the fact that IT WORKS, the price is actually quite reasonable and is certainly preferable to a lifetime of Rimadyl. I'm almost at the 3 week mark and she is markedly better. Still a slight limp, especially after long walks, but definitely none of what appeared to be very painful stiffness that she was experiencing prior to starting the Dasuquin. I expect that soon she'll be down to one pill per day or maybe even one every other day so I will definitely stick with this product.

My 8 year old lab started experiencing limping after long hikes and after playing with other dogs. My vet told me about this product. My dog seems to have less symptoms and a quicker recovery time since starting Dasuquin. She gobbles the tablets down every morning like a treat. I plan to continue this product. Product was delivered to my home in just a few days.
This product was recommend by my vet. I have a 1 year old black lab mix and found out about 6 weeks ago he has hip dysplasia in his left hip. My vet recommend to try this before doing any kind of surgery....He's been on the Dasuquin for just over 6 weeks and we have seen a difference in him. Between taking this product and swimming he his now able to jump up on our bed and in and out of our car with out help. He now gets really mad at us if we try to help him. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family. I will continue to by from Vetdepot because the cost of the product is much cheaper than going through my vet. This is the best price that I have found any where. I paid the same amount for the 84 count through my vet as I did for the 150 count through Vetdepot! We have 2 older dogs. An 11 year old black lab and a 14 year old golden retriever. Both dogs have been on Dasuquin for several years. The nice thing is they just chew the tablets up on top of their food.
It seems to really ease their arthritis symptoms. We will continue giving Dasuquin until the day they die.
My dog thinks they are treat
When my dog got a severe sprain and inflammation in her elbow, he recommended I give her Dasuquin for life. He said it is the only product of its kind that had been tested and proven to work. She has been on the initial double loading phase of 2/day for 3 weeks so it is too soon to tell how well it is working. She is feeling a lot better but she is also getting physical therapy and laser treatments. She loves the pills and gobbles them like her favorite treat.
My vet recommended dauquin and he usually doesn't get excited about new products. We've been using it for 3 yrs for our rottweiler who has minor hip dysplasia and its a blessing. People would never guess he has a hip problem. We use 2 pills day due to his large size.
My Vet suggested Dasuquin for my then 13 year old Border Collie. She is suffering from the long term effects of undiagnosed Lyme's. She came from BC Rescue. She sure has slowed down. At the same time as she started with Dasuquin she also went on Rimadyl. The combination has worked very well. We haven't taken her off either so it is impossible to tell what the effect is. She has always taken the pill easily either by hand or with a meal. And no digestive issues. VetDepot has been very easy to work with. And the meds come quickly. We have ordered the Rymadil here too but the Vet has been offering to match online prices. And I have to say I'd rather keep the money local.

This is an excellent product. Our Lab Mosby started having clicking in his hips at about 4 yrs of age. He is a very big Lab at 100lbs. Not fat just a large gorgeous Lab. So when we went to the Vet he started him on Dasuquin. We found it on your site for less. Dasuquin is an amazing products. Mosby has no more clicking in his hips! Highly recommend Dasuquin!
Not sure if these are working
Our vet recommended these in November when my lab began limping. The price here is 1/2 what my vet charged. My dog has been taking them for 3 months, still limps after a long walk - not really sure if these are helping.

2nd Round - Great Success!
We are on our second bottle of Dasuquin for an 80lb Olde English Bulldog. I wrote a review after receiving the first bottle and complimented the low price on this site. I did not have any experience yet with the product so that was the extent of the review.
Well, here we are almost a year later and I have nothing but GREAT things to say. The price is still unbeatable and the shipping is quick from VetDepot.com.
As for the product itself. We first purchased Dasuquin because there was a clicking sound coming from the leg/knee area of our dog. We followed the recommendations on the package and after a few months, cut back to one chewable every other day instead of one per day. The clicking stopped after a few months and has not started again since. That is why we ordered the second bottle - for maintenance. It will last almost a year if given every other day.
As compared to similar products, this seems to be the best. Not only is it vet recommended but it our dog eats them like a treat - they must be delicious. Also, don't be fooled by other glucosamine/chondroitin supplements that may appear cheaper. If you look at the dosage, it requires that you give two or more pills every day! So that $20 bottle only lasts a fraction of the time that this one does and costs at least as much. Not to mention the hassle of giving pills all day.
Bottom line: This is a great product, dogs love it, VetDepot has the best price, it works! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Our vet recommended this product for our lab who was beginning to show problems with arthritis. He had been limping and wasn't running as much. Since being on Dasuquin, the limp is gone and running doesn't seem to be a problem any more. We found the best price for it at VetDepot and we will forever do our shopping for it at their website!

These tablets are terrific. Our Great Dane, Mick, is a therapy dog who weighs 170 lbs. He's had knee surgery and these supplements were recommended to us by the surgeon. Mick looks forward to taking them and we believe they make him more comfortable. At 5 years old he (thankfully) is very puppy like.
I was giving my dogs another brand of glucosomine supplement but changed to Dasuquin. My vet told me this is the only true tested supplement. It did wonders for my 11 year old lab with a partially torn ACL. Between rehab and this, she is running - all without surgery!!!
Our vet recommended Dasuquin for our Lab as it is beginning to take extra effort for him to stand up after retrieving. He has been very active his entire life and he continues to want to retrieve. He doesn't seem to know when to quit. He's 7 years old and weighs about 100 lbs; he is not overweight.
We started him on Dasuquin as soon as we received them and it seems to have started to work almost instantly. The real test will be once the snow clears and we can do some retrieving.
I contacted my vet about my 11 year old german shepherd who was having increasing difficulty getting around. I had him on a similar product from another company, but it just wasn't doing the trick any more. He recommended this specific product. I searched online and found VetDepot to be the least expensive. I didn't want to put him on narcotics, so I ordered it. I have noticed an improvement. He is more interested in playing and he is getting around better. He has only been on it for a few weeks, but I will definitely be using it for as long as my dog needs it. AND, VetDepot is the least expensive place to purchase it. Definitely a return customer!
some additional thoughts on Dasuquin
I would like to add some more information on my use of Dasuquin. I had been buying this product from my local vet. The business sold to another local vet. This vet raised the price of 150 chewable tablets from $80 to $100. I tried another product, Longevity, listed in a catalogue. It didn't take long for my big German Shepherd to show declining health. I located your website and ordered two bottles of Dasuquin. You are $35 cheaper than the local vet. In about a month I noticed my dog was moving better and could even get into my van all by himself.
