Novox does seem to have the same effect for our dog's hip problems as Rimadyl does.

My ten year old lab Caesar has been on Rimadyl for the past year. He had Lyme disease and then he tripped and pulled the ligaments in his back left leg. Rimadyl allowed him to be pain free as the cost of a $5,000.00 operation was out of our league. He only walks with a slight limp now, but the cost of the Rimadyl (he takes 2 100mg daily) is so high. I am so happy that Novox has been approved and that VetDepot carries it at such a great price! Caesar had no problem switching to Novox and the money saved is a blessing. My vet prescribed Rimidayl but it was expensive so I asked for an alternative. Prescribed Novox instead and it works the same as expensive Rimadyl. Very satisfied.

This medicine has greatly improved my dog's quality of life. I was a little disappointed in the time it took to reach me. Plan ahead when reordering. My dog ended up a couple days without his pill and I could see his agitation, which just reiterates my first sentence.

We have been using Rimadyl chewables for several years for our pups in need. Decided to try Novox as being a generic was less money. We thought that not being a chewable might make a difference in administering the pill. So far this has not been a problem at all. Novox works equally well as the Rimadyl. I will continue to use the Novox.

Have a 14 yr old Golden Retriever with severe arthritis, even his front toes are deformed because of this. Also on tramadol 3 tabs, 3 times a day = 9.

He getting around alright with the help of the med combo, but sadly I know this is not going to last.

This works just like Rimadyl for a third of the cost. My dog never would take the chewable tablet on its own anyways, as her meds are in her food, so there was no difference to how she took it. I will be buying this again for sure.

Life for Mojo has gotten much better since starting with the anti inflammatory. He has much better control of his rear legs. I believe Novox has given my 12 year old some extra time. Thank you

Our Vets cost for this med was through the roof!! Triple what we pay for it here in generic form. Mercedes has great results with it as well. Smaller pills and easier for her to get down. Thank you for giving us choices and allowing us to keep our fur-babies pain free without breaking the bank!!

I had my vet look into Novox and she said she didn't think there was a problem. Our dog is 14 years old and was on Rimadyl the cost was getting to be a lot so we switched and we haven't noticed any difference. It seems to be working great. Thank you for making my dogs health care affordable.

My vet only carries Rimadyl, the surgeon carries Carprofen, but much better pricing with Vet Depot. I got almost immediate response from Vet Depot after placing my order and prompt status updates. My vet would not fax the prescription so I had a delay in shipping, but Vet Depot shipped very timely considering.

I have an 8 year old Yellow Labrador. Two years ago she had undergone hip surgery for her left hip. Both of her hips are in bad condition but the left was the worst. Upon release from the Vet, she slipped on their wet floor and had to be admitted again to undergo surgery for a broken leg which had to have a titanium rod, wiring and screws. She was placed on Novox for her arthritis because the Vets do not believe she would do well to get the right hip replaced because of her past experience with the left hip. I shopped around and found the best prices here at VetDepot. Our 14 year old Husky has arthritis. I had tried other medications with not much luck. The Novox has helped her so much. We have been using it for about six months now. I give her 1/2 a tablet with dinner which she will usually eat without having to camouflage it. She moves much better and has gotten very playful. Out of everything we have tried, this worked best for us. The one downside is that occasionally she will have diarrhea. I'll take her off of it for a couple days at a time. Other than that, we are very happy with Novox, and most of all, our Husky is happy.

My 13 year old mixed breed 65 pound dog has arthritis and had several episodes of stumbling and falling. Since she has been on Novox she has not had any incidents and is even trotting on really good days! The price here is less than half the price at my vet.

I looked at multiple websites trying to find this drug at a lower price and couldn't. And this includes the shipping. Most of the time I am only refilling the Rx not shopping for a lot of stuff. I love the fact that I can simply call and leave a message for a refill and they'll do it! Great company to deal with.

This medication has performed at the same level as the more expensive brand. Actually, it might be better because we were able to cut down on our dog's dose.



He quickly succumbed to the symptoms of osteoarthritis and after he started taking medication, he quickly improved - we're talking in a matter of hours.



If you aren't sure if you should put your dog on this or not - do it. You will be happy with the results and will feel so much better about your dog's pain management program. (It's like our dog is 3 years younger after taking this medication.)

With the Blessings of my vet, I switched my Nelly from Rimadyl to Novox. She seems to be doing fine with the generic and my pocketbook is doing GREAT with the better price.
