Viralys Oral Powder for Cats, 100 gm (L-Lysine)
We have 8 rescued cats & our vet mentioned giving them L-Lysine because they all have Feline Calici Virus, the respiratory illness that street cats get which compromises their immune systems. Everytime our cats are exposed to new bacteria someone gets very sick and we've lost 5 of them to simple bacterial infections that turned deadly. L-Lysine helps boost their immune system to give them a little more support to fight infections. I was using L-Lysine from the health food store but decided to try this one in hopes it would taste better for the cats. It seems to smell like fish, and they do seem to be more open to it being sprinkled on their food. We've been using it for about 3 weeks now and no one has come down with their usual sinus/respiratory issues, so hoping the L-Lysine is the reason. Our cats eat only dry food so we just sprinkle it on the communal bowl of food.
Easy to use..Easy to Consume!
So easy to use, can sprinkle on dry cat food or moist cat food. My cats are OK with this supplement, in the past I have tried various treats with Lysine and they just would not eat them. A few weeks in and no sneezing, wheezing, or watery eyes. Highly recommend!
We use this product for one of our cats who has had issues with sneezing, running eyes to the point of sealing shut, breathing issues (Vet thought it might be HPV virus...but it was a $400 test we could not afford). Tried this product and it was a life saver for our little one. 3 years later she is happy and healthy with the help of this product. Using Vet Depot has saved us money compared to the vet. Will continue to order from here.
Great product, fast service, good value
I ordered this as a gift for a nonprofit cat rescue. I was happily surprised that they received it very fast (less than a week after I ordered it!). They use this on the cats and kittens they rescue from their local Animal Care and Control Center who have viral infections to help them get better faster, and it really works great! I was also very happy with the reasonable price, which was lower than what I would have paid buying it from a vet. I'd definitely order from you again!
Easy to use and good value
Our cat needs this and we've been happy with this product. Feeding it with can food is easy but we feed our cat with syringe and that's not a lot of work either. Overall very happy with this product.

Great product for everyday suplement feeding
I foster kittens for my local animal shelter and many arrive in poor health. I mix this in there canned food to give them that extra boost. I also have a cat that that issues with sneezing and breathing. I mix this in her food and it does help.
I ordered this product recently and it came to me very fast. I love the price and the fact that they have this available and I don't have to go to my vet to get this. It works great for my cats and I would recommend this to anyone who has cats with mild sneezing or runny eyes. Keep up the great work Vetdepot!

After purchasing this from my vet for my cat I did a little research and saw how much less it cost here. Exact same product here for $15.00 less! Extremely happy with the price and how fast it was delivered. Will be back when I need any vet supplies.
My cat has been on this Lysine powder for several years now and I honestly believe it makes a world of difference. He has fewer sneezing fits, runny eyes, stuffy nose, breathing noise, etc. while taking this product. He appears to not mind the taste and he is a picky eater. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a cat that suffers with herpes. I keep my container in the refrigerator for freshness.

This is a great product. I bought it because my cat's eye doctor recommended it as a daily supplement for my 4 cats. I was impressed with the great customer service from Vet Depo. Placing the order was easy and I received my product within a week of placing my order.
A rounded scoop in some moist food twice a day is helping more than the capsules the specialist gave us. Timmy loves it.
