Cerenia 160 mg, 4 Tablets
We were given this medication for our one and a half year old dog who suffers from motion sickness. Like the other reviewer, we only use this medication for long trips as it makes our dog lethargic for about a day. However, it is effective for stopping the vomiting.
Cerenia Review
Our dog gets car sick every time we take him in the car. We use Cerenia only for long trips because it really knocks him out for 24 hours. I wish we could find something else that would help his stomach without making him so sleepy.
Yay for Cerenia!
My lab had NEEDED to take another medication for 3 months. One of the side effects of that medication is nausea and vomiting and clearly Fasty had both. Thank goodness for the Cerenia which clearly calmed these symptoms - the vomiting stopped and he perked up significantly. There were a couple of days that we tried without, and while he didn't vomit, he clearly felt less well. Check with your vet about proper dosage and length of use because the insert clearly warns against using too many days in a row without vet guidance.
