Use this medication only as directed by your veterinarian.
Keep pouch closed and secure until ready to use collar.
Do not allow children to handle or play with the
collar.
Directions:
- Place the collar around your dog's neck. Buckle and
adjust.
- Test for fit by placing your fingers between the
collar and your dog's neck. You should easily fit two fingers beneath
the collar.
- Cut off excess length, wrap in newspaper, and dispose
of in the trash. Do not leave where animals or children can reach.
- Replace after 6 months.
Frequency of Use:
Use continuously for up to 6 months.
Storage:
Store the collar in a dry, cool location, away from
pets and children. Do not reuse the collar.
It is a violation of Federal
Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Scalibor collars contain deltamethrin insecticide
to kill fleas and ticks for up to 6 full months. The collar kills American
dog ticks, Brown dog ticks, and deer ticks when worn continuously. During
use, friction causes the release of deltamethrin across your dog's skin,
where it prevents the attachment and feeding of fleas and ticks.

Keep this product out of reach of children and animals.
Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.
Scalibor is intended for use on dogs only. Do not
use on cats or other animals. Not for human use.
CAUTION: Harmful if absorbed through
the skin or swallowed. The ingredients in Scalibor cause moderate eye
irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and mucous membranes. Wash
hands and other areas thoroughly after coming into contact with the
collar.
Use on aged, pregnant, nursing, debilitated, and
medicated animals only with veterinarian approval.
While side effects are not usually associated with
use of the Scalibor collar, individual sensitivities are possible. If
signs of sensitivity develop, remove the collar immediately and bathe
your pet with mild shampoo. Rinse with lots of water.
Do not take internally.
Do not use this medication in animals with a known
allergy to it or to similar medications.
If Swallowed: Call a poison control center
immediately. Sip water while waiting for medical attention. Do not induce
vomiting.
If On Skin: Remove contaminated clothing.
Rinse skin with clean water for 15 to 20 minutes. Call a doctor or poison
control center for advice. Seek medical attention for continuing irritation.
If In Eyes: Hold affected eye open and
flush gently with clean water for 5 minutes. Remove contact lens, if
applicable, and continue flushing for another 10 to 15 minutes. Call
your doctor for advice.
Have the product label available when calling poison
control or your doctor.
