PancreaTabs Plus is a prescription
medication for the treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency in
dogs and cats. Animals afflicted with pancreatic insufficiency lack
adequate pancreatic digestive enzymes to properly digest and absorb
protein, carbohydrates, and fats. PancreaTabs Plus replaces those digestive
enzymes--lipase, protease, and amylase--while providing fat-soluble
vitamins A, D3, and E.

the pancreatic digestive enzymes lipase, protease, and amylase

in dogs and cats
- Promotes healthy digestion
- Helps prevent malnutrition
by aiding digestion and absorption of basic nutrients
- Fortified with vitamins
A, D3, and E

Lipase, protease, and amylase are digestive
enzymes produced in the pancreas. In some dogs and cats, disordered
pancreas functions leave the body lacking these digestive enzymes. The
result is difficulty digesting and absorbing protein, carbohydrates,
and fats, the three basic nutrients that provide energy. PancreaTabs
Plus replaces these digestive enzymes, promoting healthy digestion and
absorption of these nutrients and improving your pet's well-being. In
addition, PancreaTabs Plus is fortified with the fat-soluble vitamins
A, D3, and E to prevent or treat deficiency related to improper digestion
and absorption of nutrients.
PancreaTabs Plus is sold in 100 and
500 count bottles of 425 mg oral tablets. Each tablet contains 9,000
USP units lipase, 57,000 USP units protease, 64,000 USP units amylase,
1,000 IUs vitamin A, 100 IUs vitamin D3, and 10 IUs vitamin E. The enzymes
in this product are derived from pigs.
