Otic Cleansing Solution Directions:

1. Apply liberally into your dog or cat's ear canal.
2. Massage the base of the ear gently to loosen any crust, wax, or debris.
3. Clean away excess fluid with clean cotton or a small towel.
4. Repeat up to 3 times daily, per your veterinarian's instructions.

Frequency of Use:

Use 1 to 3 times per day, depending on the severity of your pet's symptoms.

Nolvasan Ointment Directions:

1. Flush or rinse the wound area to remove any dirt and debris.
2. Check the wound for foreign bodies.
3. Apply the antiseptic ointment to the surface wound using a sterile gauze pad or cotton swab.
4. Reapply daily or whenever the wound is cleaned or the dressings are changed.

Frequency of Use:

Apply after cleaning and before dressing. Once-daily use is sometimes sufficient. Use as often as directed by your veterinarian.

Surgical Scrub Directions:

1. Rinse the area with clean water.
2. Apply 1 mL to 5 mL of the scrub to the area and wash with a brush or sponge for several minutes.
3. Add more water as necessary to obtain and maintain sudsing.
4. Wipe off excess foam with a clean, sterile sponge.

Skin and Wound Cleanser Directions:

1. Rinse the area with clean water.
2. Perform general skin cleansing by applying the cleanser to the skin, washing gently, and rinsing thoroughly.
3. Perform wound cleaning by applying a small amount of Nolvasan to the wound using a moistened gauze pad.
4. Clean the wound for up to 4 minutes, adding water as needed to maintain sudsing.
5. Repeat the cleaning if the wound is heavily soiled.
6. Wipe off excess foaming with a sterile gauze pad.
7. Apply an antiseptic ointment and/or dressing, if desired.

Frequency of Use:

Use as needed or as directed by your veterinarian.

Nolvasan Otic Cleansing Solution contains isopropanol, a powerful cleansing agent, which helps eliminate dead tissue and debris from your pet's ears. The product also prevents and treats minor external ear infections and dries quickly to prevent irritation.

Chlorhexidine, the active ingredient in Nolvasan Antiseptic Ointment, is a chemical antiseptic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It also works against viruses, yeasts, and fungi. Applying the ointment to skin wounds prevents infections and speeds recovery.

Nolvasan cleanser and scrub work by killing the bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeasts responsible for most skin and wound infections. When used to clean the skin prior to surgery, the products prevent potentially serious infections and speed recovery. When used to clean skin wounds, Nolvasan prevents infections from developing in deeper layers of the skin.
