This product, (Methimazole 5mg) and the people at VETdepot have saved Sammy, my big ole tom cat. The folks at VETdepot are easy to do business with, and because of the affordable price, easy ordering and the great service Sammy is again healthy and happy...and so am I. When my vet charged me the first time for the Methimazole I knew I needed to find another option! I was so glad to have found Vet Depot, who provides the same product at a third of the price my vet was charging me! Very quick delivery, easy to contact if needed, and they contacted my vet directly for the prescription.

This medication works great, my kitty was eating incredible amounts, meowing in all sorts of ways and didn't seem happy. Now she I back to her old self and she is doing well.
I'm really happy with the product, the price, the ease of ordering, and how quickly it was delivered to my home. I found the customer service to be very helpful and very on the ball.
I have been using this for at least 2 and a half years and then the vet had a new supplier for his medicine and got another brand with larger pills and the cat took them but with difficulty. I asked the vet this spring if they had the smaller ones and they said no and others have asked for the smaller pills. I have a cat that when you need to give her the pill all you need to do is tell her it is pill time and head to the bedroom and she waits for the pill and if for some reason the pill does not go down she waits for me to try again. If for some reason the pill gets stuck in her mouth she chews the pill for me and that is why I wanted the small ones, as I know they say they are bitter tasting and would like them to be as small as possible. I happened to find this by searching the internet and I am going to stay here for as long as needed for her. I am so glad the price of these compared to the vet price is less than half and then some. I would have not come here if it was not for the fact they had larger ones. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a way to save money. I love my vet and am thankful that he let me purchase this medicine for Peanut as this is making life easier for the both of us.

When I was told my cat had hyperthyroidism and my vet gave me a monthly cost of over $60.00 to help her....I didn't know what I was going to do! I knew I couldn't afford the medication and thought I might have to have my kitty put down as she would get more and more sick. I began researching on-line and found vet depot and was thrilled to see I could get the medication at such a good price! My vet wasn't happy because she wanted to sell me the medication herself, but after many tears on my part and explaining I couldn't afford her prices, she finally gave in and gave me the prescription to fill with vet depot!!! Thank you so much for making this so affordable!!! Don't know what I would do without you!!!
Best value for these that I could find
When your pet has to take 2 of these a day, the cost can add up quickly. From my local pharmacy I was paying 70 cents each and that was the best price I could find. Vet Depot's price can't be beat! I will order here from now on.
However, I found my vet wasn't thrilled about me ordering online. Not sure why they care but it took some convincing for her to write the prescription for 100 pills at a time. The cat is going to be on these for the rest of his life so you'd think they'd want me to find the best price.

Difficult to find drug at a great price!
My cat needs this 2X a day and this price is nearly half what my vet charges. It's hard to find online in this dosage and no one I saw beat this price. I've been very pleased with service and highly recommend to anyone needing this product.
Great Price and Fast Delivery
The price is excellent and much less than buying it directly from the vet or any local pharmacy. Shipping is very fast, even when there are no refills left on the original prescription and VetDepot needs to contact the doctor for a renewal. So far my cat has gone through 3 bottles and this is doing an excellent job of treating his hyperthyroidism.

Fantastic price for this medication. I am a registered veterinary technician in Ohio, and am incredibly pro obtaining medications from online pharmacies. There is no sense whatsoever in paying more, just because of the convenience of walking out of your vet's office with it. We who work there know that they are the same med. I've yet to know of an experience where the customer did not get what they wanted or thought they were getting - so if your veterinarian is trying to discourage you from using such a site ask for some factual reason why, and perhaps real contact information for that reference if at all possible. They probaby just want the money to stay within their clinic. Which is a valid desire - but the mark up on medications at vet clinics is UNBELIEVABLY HIGH.

I found Vet Depot and loved the price I saw. I asked my vet if he could send the prescription to them. He said he would check the site out first because he had too many concerns about online sites. He said too many do not really give you what you think you are getting. So after he followed up and felt the site was legit he filled the prescription here. I appreciated his concern for my kitties welfare, but I couldn't afford his price at $75 for the same price I paid $17 here. Thanks Vet Depot for offering the products at a good price and not so over inflated for the sake of profits.

A friend told me about VetDepot. I had been buying Methimazole from my vet and it was expensive. I found the process for signing up straightforward. I was impressed that VetDepot called and emailed to track down the prescription I sent (the USPS was very slow delivering it to them!). Once they had it, they sent me the meds right away. Excellent job!
Excellent price and excellent medication. Methimazole has kept our 19 1/2 year old cat alive for over three years now. She nearly died from thyroid disease. Our vet recommended Methimazole and it worked. We give her a 1/4 pill in the morning and a 1/2 pill at night. The dosage will vary from cat to cat however so follow your vet's advise. We found that VetDepot has the best price and we order several bottles of 100 at a time.
Good Price, quick service
I ordered from this company for the first time last month. I give my cat methimazole tablets, which my veterinarian no longer stocks because all his clients use the ear cream. Local pharmacies are extremely expensive for this product. I was glad to be able to order the same brand I have been using at a good price. The order was filled correctly and promptly.

Methimazole 5 mg at about 15 cents per pill when the local guys wanted $1.00 per pill! My tuxedo cat doesn't care what they cost, he just needs a shiny coat and more energy from his thyrroid. I on the other hand have to work, work, work so I am more price sensitive than he is. Both Mr. Tuxedo and I am pleased with Vet Depot!

Sam is a 22yr old White long haired Turkish Angora with thyroid problems. He has been on medication as long as I have known him. I've changed Veterinarians a few times over the last few years and decided to try VetDepot for his medication.
There is always talk about how the online medications are not the same as the Vets office? These were spot on. After having Sam on Methimazole 5mg from VetDepot for almost a year the vet gave him a big thumbs up thyroid wise ... which means these tablets are perfect.
