Dog and Cat MaxiGuard Pet Meds

MaxiGuard is a line of dental care, ear care, and dermatological products for dogs and cats. MaxiGuard Derm Spray is an astringent for pet wound care. MaxiGuard OraZn and Oral Cleansing Gel that cleanses and freshens breath and teeth without brushing. MaxiGuard Otic cleans and calms the sensitive ears of dogs and cats.

MaxiGuard Zn7 Derm products and MaxiGuard 4.5 Otic soothe sensitive and problematic skin with easy topical application. They provide relief from raw, dry, infected, and otherwise irritated skin. Use MaxiGuard Zn7 to clean, treat, and manage a variety of wounds, infections, and skin conditions, and use MaxiGuard 4.5 Otic for the same purposes in the ear. These products are safe for use on horses, cats, dogs, and other pets, including exotic species.

These oral care products are made for cats, dogs, horses and exotic species. They are made with natural ingredients and are tasteless to prevent rejection by pets.

MaxiGuard Zn7 Derm and MaxiGuard 4.5 Otic are for horses, cats, dogs, and other animals. Check product labels and ask your veterinarian. Not for human use.

Directions for MaxiGuard Zn7 Derm:

Clean and dry affected skin well.
Spray site 1 to 2 times daily as recommended. If not using a product with a spray nozzle, use the applicator or a clean finger or piece of gauze to apply a thin layer over the site.
Treated areas may be dressed or exposed.

Directions for MaxiGuard 4.5 Otic:

Clean the ear, including removal of any accumulation or foreign matter.
Fill the ear canal with MaxiGuard solution for the initial application.
Massage the base of the ear canal and let product dry.
Apply 5 to 8 drops twice per day for subsequent uses as recommended by your veterinarian.

Directions for MaxiGuard Oral Cleansing Gel:

Remove the cap and applicator tip.
Pour the contents of the attached vial (ascorbic acid) into the gel.
Reattach applicator tip and replace cap.
When ascorbic acid reaches bottom of gel, shake bottle until additive dissolves.
Hold your pet's head steady with one hand.
Place applicator tip inside one corner of your pet's mouth.
Squeeze out a small amount of gel onto the outside of the back upper molars and gums. Product will distribute naturally.
Refrigerate after combining vial contents with gel, or keep in a cool, dark place.

Directions for MaxiGuard Oral Cleansing Spray:

Remove the cap and spray nozzle.
Pour the contents of the attached vial (ascorbic acid) into the gel.
Reattach spray nozzle and cap.
When ascorbic acid reaches bottom of spray, shake bottle until additive dissolves.
Hold your pet's head steady with one hand.
Spray onto back upper molars and gums.
Alternatively, spray your pet's toothbrush or a piece of gauze and apply to back upper molars and gums.
Refrigerate after combining vial contents with spray, or keep in a cool, dark place.

Directions for MaxiGuard OraZn Pet Oral Care:

Apply small amount of hydrogel on the gums above the upper back molars.
Use the applicator tip, your fingertip, a finger brush, a swab, or piece of gauze as works best for your pet. Medium to large dogs are more likely to accept direct administration from the applicator tip than other pets. Product will distribute naturally.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Store at controlled room temperature.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

MaxiGuard Zn7 Derm and MaxiGuard 4.5 Otic Product Details:

MaxiGuard Zn7 Derm and MaxiGuard 4.5 Otic are formulated with a special 300-metalloenzyme system that contains zinc. This system promotes healing, connective tissue repair, cell proliferation, reduces inflammation, and provides other benefits to injured, infected, and unhealthy skin. These skin care products also contain two key amino acids, l-lysine and taurine, for other benefits.

MaxiGuard skin and ear care products are available over the counter.

MaxiGuard Zn7 Ingredients: Deionized water, Glycerin, Zinc gluconate, Carboxymethylcellulose, L-lysine, Taurine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Patented Neutralized Zinc (pH 6.8-7.0)

MaxiGuard 4.5 Otic Ingredients: Deionized Water, Zinc Gluconate, Boric Acid, Taurine, L-lysine, Propylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Patented zinc and amino acid formula

MaxiGuard oral care Product Details:

MaxiGuard oral care products use the power of zinc and certain enzymes to penetrate plaque, oxidize anaerobic bacteria, reduce inflammation, and otherwise promote oral health. They also include taurine, a compound that absorbs and neutralizes foul odors in the mouth. MaxiGuard oral care products work with or without brushing; however, they are intended for use as part of a complete oral hygiene regimen that includes brushing, rinsing, and veterinary dental care.
