Keratolux shampoo is a unique, tar-free, antiseborrheic and keratolytic cleanser that contains spherulites and removes crusting, scaling, and oil from the skin and coat of animals. Its rich lather makes application easy, and its non-irritating formula is gentle enough for puppies and kittens. Symptoms of keratoseborrheic disorders typically disappear within 3 weeks of beginning therapy.

Use this medication only as directed by your veterinarian.

For topical use only. Do not give internally. Avoid breathing vapors during use.

Do not allow children to apply this shampoo.

Read manufacturer-provided inserts and warnings prior to use.

Directions:

1. Shake well before each use.
2. Wet your animal's coat with warm water.
3. Apply enough shampoo to create a rich lather on your pet's coat.
4. Massage the shampoo into your animal's coat.
5. Rinse and repeat.
6. Allow the second application to remain for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing.
7. Rinse well with clean water.

Frequency of Use:

Use at 3-day intervals for 3 weeks. Continue using beyond 3 weeks only if instructed to do so by your veterinarian.

Storage:

Store Keratolux below 75 degrees F. Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Keratolux shampoo works by regulating sebum production and the keratinization process to improve your dog or cat's skin health. The shampoo removes scales, crusts, and excessive oil while leaving the coat soft, lustrous, and clean. The non-ionic spherulites contained in Keratolux shampoo provide slow release of the active ingredients to ensure long-lasting benefits.

Other Ingredients: Purified water, cleansing agents, Spherulites encapsulating zinc gluconate and pyridoxine HCl, vitamin F (source of fatty acids), piroctone olamine, imidazolidinyl urea, and Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil

Warnings:

Keep this product out of reach of children and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.

Keratolux is intended for use only on horses, cats, and dogs. Do not use on humans or on other animals.

CAUTION: For topical use only.

Do not get this shampoo into the eyes. If eye contact occurs, flush well with water and seek medical attention for persistent irritation.

Ingestion may cause nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, cramps, and other gastrointestinal effects.

Do not use this medication in animals with a known allergy to it or to similar medications.
