Primary I.V. Set

Vented, 72 Inch with Flashback Bulb

Approximate priming volume 12.5 mL
Use aseptic technique.  Remove caps when required and secure connections.
Close CAIR clamp.
For plastic, replace bacterial retentive air filter with piercing pin cover.
Insert pin Suspend.
Squeeze drip chamber to fill one-third full.
Open CAIR clamp and allow solution to expel air from set.
Close CAIR clamp.
Attach set to the access device.
Adjust flow with CAIR clamp.
To stop flow at CAIR clamp without disturbing setting, lift tubing upward and into shutoff slot.

Note
When I.V. tubing is stretched or tugged, all manual flow control clamps may lose flow control effectiveness.

Warning
Excessive internal pressure may cause separation of the flashback device.
Replace per CDC guidelines or health care provider policy.  Not for insertion into blood or plasma containers.  This product contains dry natural rubber.
Discard after single patient use.  Do not resterilize.  Do not store at extreme temperatures.  Fluid path and areas beneath undisturbed protective set covers are sterile and nonpyrogenic in intact unit package.

Arrived promptly, and worked fine. They seem lighter-weight than what I got from the vet, but there doesn't seem to work fine--and the price is a small fraction of what the vet charges. I will use VetDepot again.
