So far so good. It is REALLY silent in my 55G, and it does move a lot of water. Flow is also adjustable, so that is a plus. In addition it comes with all the media you need and you can customize the filtration to your requirements. Ah! No carbon included (I do not care about that as I place a bag of purigen on it). 1 month later still good. Time will tell...

I have had other Eheim canister filters. Their quality and function exceed anything else I have used. The Pro 3 was easy to assemble and put into operation except for the extra elbow in the parts package. I thought I had messed up somewhere so, I took it apart and re-assembled! The price was very attractive too. I highly recommend this product. Connie G
