Dog Vaccines

Duramune is a line of pet vaccines. Administered via subcutaneous injection, they are safe for use in healthy dogs and puppies that are at least 6 weeks old. Duramune vaccines come with the patented INFOVAX-ID System for easy veterinary tracking of pertinent vaccination information.

Duramune vaccines protect dogs and puppies against a variety of infections and associated illnesses. Duramune Max 5, Duramune Max 5/4L, Duramune Max 5-CvK, and Duramune Max 5-CvK/4L all provide protection against infectious canine hepatitis, canine distemper, adenovirus 2, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. Duramune Max 5/4L also vaccinates against leptospirosis, while Duramune Max 5-CvK also vaccinates against coronavirus. Duramune Max 5-CvK/4L offers combined protection against all the above-named. Duramune vaccines are safe for use in healthy dogs and puppies at least 6 weeks old.

For use by or under the close supervision of a veterinarian only.

Directions:

Aseptically reconstitute Duramune with the sterile diluent, leptospirosis bacterial extract, and/or coronavirus vaccine provided.
Shake well.
Administer 1 mL subcutaneously.
Remove INFOVAX-ID labels from vaccine vials and affix them to the appropriate place on the dog's medical chart.

Frequency of Use:

Initial vaccination should be at 6 weeks of age or older. The presence of maternal antibodies can interfere with establishment of immunity. Revaccination is recommended every 2 to 3 weeks until the age of 12 weeks. Dogs receiving initial doses after 12 weeks of age should receive a second dose 2 to 3 weeks afterwards. Annual boosters are recommended.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Store Duramune vaccines in the dark, between 35 and 45 degrees F. Protect from light and freezing. Only reconstitute right before use.

Burn containers and unused product.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Duramune vaccines contain modified live viruses. Duramune Max 5-CvK and Duramune Max 5-CvK/4L also contain killed coronavirus. Daramune introduces the infections against which they protect in a controlled manner that allows the dog's immune system to learn to efficiently identify and neutralize the threats.

Warnings:

Keep Duramune products out of reach of children and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.

Duramune vaccines are only intended for use in healthy dogs and puppies at least 6 weeks of age. Do not administer to other animals. Not for use in humans.

Use as directed.

In the absence of a veterinarian-client-patient relationship, Federal law prohibits the relabeling, repackaging, resale, or redistribution of the individual contents of this package. (9 CFR Part 112.6)

CAUTION: In case of an anaphylactic reaction, administer epinephrine.

Temporary irritation or reactions may occur at the site of injection.

Do not open or reconstitute vaccines until ready to use.
