Anti-Inflammatory Milk Protein Supplements

Duralactin is anti-inflammatory arthritis and pain relief supplement for dogs, cats, and horses. Duralactin contains MicroLactin which is derived from milk protein. Duralactin Canine Directions:

  1. Offer chewable tablets directly or crumble them and add them to food.
  2. Give ½ tablet twice per day to dogs weighing less than 40 lbs.
  3. Give 1 tablet twice per day to dogs weighing 40-80 lbs.
  4. Give 1 ½ tablets twice per day to dogs weighing 80-120 lbs.
  5. Consult your veterinarian about dosing for larger dogs.

Duralactin Feline Directions:

  1. Twist open capsules and mix their contents in with food.
  2. Give 1 capsule twice per day to cats weighing less than 12 lbs.
  3. Give 2 capsules every morning and 1 capsule every evening to cats weighing 12 lbs. or more.

Duralactin Canine and Feline Liquid Directions:

  1. Offer directly or add to food.
  2. Shake container well before opening.
  3. Give 3 tsp. every morning and 2 tsp. every evening to dogs weighing less than 40 lbs. Alternatively, give 2.5 tsp. twice per day.
  4. Give 5 tsp. twice per day to dogs weighing 40-80 lbs.
  5. It is recommended you administer Duralactin Canine to dogs weighing more than 85 lbs.
  6. Give 1 tsp. twice per day to cats weighing less than 12 lbs.
  7. Give 2 tsp. every morning and 1 tsp. every evening to cats weighing 12 lbs. or more. Alternatively, give 1.5 tsp. twice per day.

Duralactin Feline L-Lysine Directions:

  1. See included instructions for properly dosing and administering with the manufacturer-provided oral syringe.
  2. Give kittens 1.25 mL (½ notch on the syringe) twice per day.
  3. Give adult cats 2.5 mL (1 notch or line on the syringe) twice per day.

Frequency of Use:

Duralactin anti-inflammatory supplements are administered 2 times daily.

Duralactin anti-inflammatory products supply MicroLactin. This is a patented milk protein derived from hyperimmunized cows. It blocks cytokines and reduces the body's inflammatory response. Duralactin Canine and Feline Liquid also contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, essential nutrients that are known to reduce inflammation and benefit health in a variety of other ways. Duralactin Feline L-Lysine delivers the amino acid l-lysine with MicroLactin and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. This compound has been show to help stop the reproduction of the feline herpes virus (FHV-1) and to improve ocular, respiratory, and immune system function in cats. Duralactin supplements do not share the mechanism of action of any known drug and are not cyclooxygenase (COX-1 or COX-2) inhibitors.

Warnings:

Keep Duralactin products out of reach of children and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.

Duralactin Canine is only intended for use in dogs. Duralactin Feline is only intended for use in cats. Duralactin Canine and Feline is only intended for use in dogs and cats. Duralactin Feline L-Lysine is only intended for use in cats. Do not administer to other species. None of these products is to be used in humans.

CAUTION: Talk to your veterinarian before beginning a pet on any supplement regimen.

Consult your veterinarian before concurrently administering any other supplements or medications.

Some animals may be sensitive to the milk protein in Duralactin products. If your pet experiences vomiting or diarrhea with use, stop giving the product and contact your veterinarian.

Individual sensitivities may occur. Talk to your veterinarian about any adverse reactions you notice in your pet.

In the event of a known or suspected overdose, contact your veterinarian immediately.

If an animal's condition does not improve or worsens with administration of a Duralactin product, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.

Tell your veterinarian if your dog or cat is pregnant, nursing, or used for breeding.
