of Advantage Multi based on your dog's body weight. Treat dogs weighing
more than 110 lbs. with a dose determined by your veterinarian.
- Hold the applicator tube
in an upright position and remove the cap.
- Turn the cap upside down
and push the cap's other end onto the tip of the tube.
- Twist the cap until the
seal breaks and then remove the cap from the applicator tube.
- With your dog standing,
part the hair between the shoulder blades on your dog's back until you
can see the skin.
- Apply the entire contents
of the tube to one spot for dogs weighing 20 lbs. or less. For dogs
weighing more than 20 lbs., apply the contents of the tube to 3 or 4
spots in a line from the base of your dog's neck to the upper back.
Separate treated dogs from each other
and from other pets for 30 minutes to ensure accidental ingestion via
licking of treated areas does not occur. Ingestion by dogs may cause

muscle tremors. In dogs sensitive to avermectin, coma and death may
occur.

against your cat's skin and apply the entire contents of the tube.
- Lift the applicator tube
away from your cat's skin before releasing pressure on the tube.

site may result in tremors, decreased appetite, hypersalivation, and/or
vomiting.

Advantage Multi is a monthly treatment
for heartworms, fleas, and intestinal parasites that provides comprehensive
protection for dogs and cats. One of the active ingredients in Advantage
Multi, imidacloprid, is a chloronicotinyl nitroguanidine insecticide.
The other active ingredient, moxidectin, is a parasiticide. Advantage
Multi works by interfering with nerve transmission in intestinal worms
and heartworms, thereby causing paralysis and death. The product kills
fleas by acting on the nervous system of the insects.
