Vetmedin 5 mg, 50 Chewable Tablets is a pimobendan pet med that is used to treat some types of congestive heart failure in dogs. Vetmedin for dogs treats heart failure of different severities, including atrioventricular valvular insufficiency (AVVI) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). Pimobendan acts as a vasodilator to expand blood vessels and helps your dog's heart contract more efficiently.

My dog spade was a rescue black cocker spaniel. We discovered he had congestive heart failure after having him for about a year. His veterinarian said he was about 7 to 8 yrs old at this time. She started him on several medications. One of which she used was Vetmedin 5mg 50tablets. She said this medicine was very expensive and my dog's condition was very bad. We chose to go with it. At the vet's office it is over 100 dollars a month. We found out VETDEPOT COSTS AROUND 70 DOLLARS PER MONTH!

My oldest dachshund, Sabra has had heart issues for several years now. She has been on Vetmedin for almost two years and I am fairly sure the reason she is still here is because of this medication. She turns 14 on Jan. 1st and we have Vetmedin and her vet to thank!

My dog responded positively to this drug.

Carter was started on this medicine by a vet, and he has seemed more energetic and feeling better by using it (instead of Lasix). We were looking for a cheaper source of the medicine so we could keep Carter on it. The cheapest I found it at a store was about $90. The cheaper rate this company offered allowed us to save money while also keeping Carter on the best medicine.

My oldest dahshund, Sabra, has been on Vetmedin for almost a year now, and I feel very strongly that she is still around becuase of this medication. Sabra will be 14 in January and has had serious heart issues for almost two years. She enjoys the pills and fights her other dog friends to keep them away from her medication. The Vet.depot price is great and we have been very happy
