This product was recommended to us by our vet. He described it as a supplement that provides a pet with an enzyme from its mother's milk. Our dog was getting stressed out due to some medical issues with our other dog that concerned him (they are buddies). I continue to give this supplement even now that the original stressor is no longer present because it seems to have a general calming, anti-anxiety effect. And the price on vetdepot is excellent.

We have a neurotic Mau mix who was abandoned in a desert neighborhood neutered and front paw declawed. He is the sweetest boy ever but will spray when stressed. After many hit & misses (no pun intended) with Rx medications, we have found that this natural product given twice a day really has helped in reducing his anxieties.

My dog was on Prozac but I didn't like the side effects. We started her on Zylkene and found that it really helped her with her anxiety but didn't affect her energy level or dull her personality.

<p>Yes, it worked for me. Hard to belive that such a benign, non-prescription product works as well as it does. We have a LARGE male tabby who is afraid of everything that moves. Since starting him on Zylkene he is out and about and we can actually pet him. He gets a capsule every night mixed into a little wet food and sucks it up. I wish It came in larger quantities- like 100 capsules</p>

<p>Every year prior to the Fourth of July I start to worry about the effects of the booming and whistling of the fire works on my male Boston terrier.In my area it begins a week before until a week after the 4th. This product actually helps the before and after. The night of requires the prescription drug to get him through. Generally after the 4th there are 3 months of anxiety the dog feels. The Zyklene has helped greatly to reduce the stress and anxiety! Hard to believe something as natural and simple as this product could work but it really seems to. Only negative is the cost. Really expensive to keep the dog on it for long term.</p>

Before Zylkene Annie was anti-social, angry and sometimes did not use the liter box. I could tell a difference in a matter of days. She plays more and seems more relaxed. No more liter mishaps. Just mix with her wet food.
