This product was recommended after my dog became partially paralyzed and I needed to begin expressing her bladder. It helps keep the UTI's at bay.
Our vet recommended cranberry extract for our 11 year old diabetic miniature poodle. Excess glucose in the urinary tract causes bacteria which requires a round of antibiotics to cure. We started using Crananidin as preventative. Brandi likes Crananidin and will eat the pill out of your hand. She's only been taking Crananidin for three months, but so far, so good. I hope that it continues to work as advertised. Even though it is pricey, it is more cost effective than antibiotics and emergency care!
<p>The vet recommended this for my French Bulldog with UTI's. She has only been taking it a couple of months, but so far, so good and she likes it. Before she was getting infection every few weeks. She has not been given any meds. since starting Crananidin.</p>
<p>My 3 year old English Bull Terrier was getting UTI's every 3 months. My vet suggested Crananidin for Olive. She takes one tablet every morning and has not had a UTI for over a year. Olive loves them and enjoys her morning "treat."</p><p>The price is worth it not to go to the vet every 3 months for antibiotics.</p>
Excellent product. I have a newfoundland that had chronic UTIs my vet suggested Crananidin and it has worked.
My dachshund gets more than her fair share of UTIs. While on vacation she had one of the worst she has ever had. A local vet recommended Crananidin. She has been taking it for six months--everyday without any problems--and hasn't had any signs of a UTI. Great product! Could only find the 75 count bottles at a few online companies--Vet Depot has the best price in addition to the high quality service.
Crananidin was recommended by my vet after my Dachshund developed bladder stones which required surgical removal. She has been on the product for about three years and has had no recurrence of the bladder stones. The product is not inexpensive however it is a minor price to pay to keep her healthy. Two other vets have also agreed that continuing use is obviously of great benefit and to continue using it.
Our beloved Jamorir Duke was recently diagnosed with Diabetes w/chronic UTIs since Sep 2013. He just finished his 3rd Antibiotic treatment. Jamorir's Vet suggested to use Crananidin for UTI Prevention. He stated that there was a lot of research study done on this product that proved to help decrease frequency of UTIs. Our dog loves the product. Unfortunately, Jamorir Duke does not see his MD until next week to run another Urine C & S.
<p>Our Internal Medicine Vet (Dr. Block) recommended to put our 7.5 year old rottweiller who has Diabetes and persistent UTI on Cranberry Extract supplement. He has only been on this supplement for one month. He likes the taste. The only con is that it is expensive. Too soon to tell if this product really works.</p>
Our Vet reccommended this for our English Mastiff girl who had recurrent UTI's. It seems to have helped! Fingers crossed! Best part is she eats it like a treat!
This is a wonderful product. It keeps my Sheltie's UTI problem at bay. The price is fair when you consider what the vet bill for a UTI would be.
This product was recommended by my vet at Tuft's Veterinary Hospital, a world renowned animal hospital and veterinary school. It helps to keep my bull mastiff's bladder healthy. She has suffered from frequent resistant uti's. VetDepot gets my product to me super fast and the prices are great.
I have an 8 year old Bichon Frise with chronic bladder stones (5 surgeries to date). I use Crananidin regularly to keep her bladder functioning better. Now when I think she has a problem I take her to the vet and she gets antibiotics to supplement. It has been over 15 months since she has had to have surgery.
My vet also recommended this product for a young spaniel with stubborn UTI's. We have only been using it 2 weeks, so I haven't had her checked yet & cannot report on any success just yet. I am optimistic, though, as it contains ingredients quite close to the supplement I buy at the health food store!
This is a very good product for dogs. It keeps the urinary tract in dogs in good shape. My dog is partially paralyzed and this product works on keeping her clean. We have to express her and our vet said that this is ideal for her for condition.
He's been taking this for six months now without a recurrence of an infection!
While promoted for dogs, this product also works with cats. My senior female cat, Xena, started having problems with urinary tract infections despite all my efforts to help her lose weight (difficult with a food-obsessed cat in a multi-cat household) and to help her clean and remain sanitary. The vet recommended Crananidin tablets, after checking with the manufacturer to make certain they were also suitable for cats. Now I crush 1/4 tablet and mix it into Xena's wet food twice a day and it is helping her maintain a healthy urinary tract while the battle of the bulge continues!
