When my Maltese was prescribed the Potassium Citrate, I found the chewable Pala-Tech tablets so easy to give with her food plus she liked the taste and ease of chewing the tablet. She has been on this for several years and no more bladder stones.

My dog had a bladder stone removed and after my research, I found that he needed potassium citrate. His vet had a liquid but trying to give him liquid medicine was not something I wanted to do. I found the Potassium Citrate chewable tablets on Vet Depot website and after 2 weeks his vet tested his urine and the ph level was back to normal!!!!!!!! He dances around when he hears the bottle being opened...........and gobbles it down.

I liked the first Potassium Citrate I got because my dog thought it was a treat and he ate it without a problem. But the new one he would not take it at all. So now I just put wet food on it and he will eat it. So now it's not a problem. It works so I'm glad.

My Pom has been on this medication for 5 years and has not had a recurrence of bladder stones. My vet recommended me ordering from Vet Depot and the prices is almost cut in half since I have ordered. Vet depot also contacted my Vet and emailed the info on the order. I am well pleased.

My pup would not eat the gel potassium gluconate at all.My Vet suggested these. WOW! She now can not wait for Treat time. No matter what the cost if you have to wrestle down your pet to get them to take their meds its not worth it. These are WELL worth the price and I dont have to choke it down her or try to mix it with High fat and sugar treats. Just the pills are her treats! Her Super Chem panel this morning was right up the middle. Can't ask for better than that.

We have had our miniature schnauzer on this product for 6 years now. The VetDepot.com website is the only place we buy from because they have them in supply when we need them, and they get them mailed to us promptly. After JoJo has his breakfast each morning he gets his potassium. We tell him it's his fruit bowl. He always looks forward to getting his fruit bowl.

Unfortunately this is the wrong product for my dog. She has struvite crystals and this will raise her PH not lower it. She has a high PH already. Make sure you read all of the reviews and details before you order.

Service was prompt in ordering.

My 4 year old dog had a Calcium Oxalate Stone removed from his bladder so in my research I found that Potassium Citrate would help stop the formation of the stones from coming back. My dog is a very picky eater but he takes the tablets like a treat. I haven't had his urine tested yet since starting on the tablets so I can't say yet whether it is working.

Shadow, my dog, has other aliments, diabetes and seizures, and this tablet does not interfere with these medications. He has taken the tablets almost 2 years now. We really enjoy the convenience of ordering them online with VetDepot. Deliveries are carried out promptly and correctly every time. Thank you!

We have a Schnauzer and had been giving her the granules to prevent stones. They made such a mess but the tablets are so much more neat. She loves the taste and *fingers crossed* no stones for now.

Tasty version of Prescription tablet

Pros:
Cons:
Picky Great Dane loves the flavor of these pills and actually thinks of them as treats...much better than having to chase him around to make sure the bitter prescription pill actually got eaten. Using it to abate Bladder Protein Stones for which he's had surgery already. Great product!
