My vet recommended this product for my cat who has dandruff. Within the first week I noticed an improvement. This Sunday I'll be giving her her 4th treatment. The difference in just 3 weeks of treatments is amazing. Very little dandruff on her now. I will use as directed so I'll be doing 5 more weekly sessions. If it gets rid of the dandruff which it seems to be doing I'd recommend this product. As far as I'm concerned this is a great product. The fragrance is pleasant. I can't tell what it is, but it's not overpowering.
<p>Two weeks ago I applied it to my cat's skin between the shoulder blades as directed. It made him smell like a freshly groomed poodle for a few days which I did not like too much. But ...within 2 days, his skin was healthy and he is still dandruff-free. I'll put it on him again when the white flakes appear. This product is incredibly effective.</p>
I have 4 cats and all of them have benefited from this product. All 4 are short hair and and all four have much silkier coats and much less dandruff as well as significantly less hair loss. I used it about once a week for 4 weeks and then occasionally. This last time one of the cats got a bald spot where I applied it :( but the skin is not red nor inflamed so I presume the hair will grow back. The directions say not to rub it in and I read online of another cat that had hair loss when the owner rubbed it in...so I take the blame although I applied it the same as always and no other cats have lost hair. Any way....I will use this product again. I like the smell a lot! To me it smells mostly of lavender. I have also used the dog product but did not see the dramatic results I experienced with my cats.
