VetDepot is so easy to work with. They offer my dog's medicine at a much cheaper price than the vet and they keep a copy of the prescription on file so re-ordering is very easy! Packages come quickly so my dog is never without his meds!

I have an eighty two pound bull dog/pit bull mix. She (Grunt) has been gaining weight for the past several years and every check up she seems to be up a pound. Her skin is not the best and she was diagnosed with Cushings Disease. She's been on the medications for 3 month now and will have to have the lab work done in the near future to see if she needs a higher dose. She has lost approx. 3 lbs -- not a whole lot, but it's a start and at least she hasn't gained more. I order from this company for the savings. My vet is unable to sell us these medications at the price I am buying from VetDepot. She is taking two 30mg capsules twice a day with the cost at approx $117.00 per month. I would have been paying over $140.00 at my vet for the same medications. and now that they are looking at increasing the dose the cost will be going up even more. I am very satisfied with VetDepot.

VetDepot had the best price I could find online or from any local veterinarian for Vetoryl, which is taking a bite out of my wallet.

So far I've ordered twice from VetDepot and they have been responsive, helpful, and coordinated prescription info with my vet quickly, keeping me in the loop. They also seem to care about getting the meds out quickly which is so helpful with Cushings as you probably know if you're reading this. The dosage can be tricky and expensive.

My dog has been on Vetoryl at different dosages for about 4 months. He has improved greatly. The scary side effects of Vetoryl have not been a problem. He's only had two episodes of vomiting/dry heaves in that whole time. He's still having major bladder infections which is a symptom of the disease and his belly is still a bit pendulous...I've heard that these symptoms resolve quickly in some dogs, not mine. He has grown his hair back though making him less scary gremlin and more Gizmo gremlin.

Good luck!

After several misdiagnoses over a 6 month period, Buddy finally got diagnosed with Cushing's disease - a treatable condition that develops in older dogs. He had been licking his paws and always hungry and he was driving us crazy! Within a week on Vetoryl he began to act much more normal. Appetite is under control and although he still licks paws, it's more tolerable.

Initial response to Vetoryl very positive. Dog's condition improved remarkably. However, have some difficulty in getting to the appropriate dosage. Started with way too low and now approaching recommended max.

Shorty has been using this for a couple of years after being diagnosed with Cushing's disease. He is doing well although we had to double the dosage. Thank goodness we are able to order this from the Vet Depot and save a bit each month from what the vet's office charges for the same product.
