I have used this product for several years to support the insufficient pancreas in my dog.I like the quality of the finely ground component of this product as it seems to work better than other products that are more coarsely ground.

This product is wonderful. My 10 year old GSD female has been on it for approximately 1 year because of pancreatic insufficiency. She was so bad prior to diagnoses that she had gone down to 57 lbs. Her normal weight is around 75 lbs. It took approximately 10 days for her body to adjust to getting PancreaPowder plus. She has normal stool and is no longer vomiting and has put the weight back on. It is very easy to adjust the dosage if she starts to have a flair up. Of course with my vet's ok. I highly recommend thi product.

We have ordered this product from our Vet to pay a higher premium, to commute to and from the Vet to pick my order. This was convenient and it was shipped in a timely manner to my home. I will continue to shop with Vetdepot as long as the prices are reasonable.

<p>It worked really well for the first year. Since he has been taking this product for approximately two years now and its effectiveness has decreased considerably. Also his dosage has increased to 12 oz. every two weeks unfortunately the cost is becoming prohibitive. Wish him luck because my neighbor has been seriously considering putting him down.</p>

The PancreaPowder Plus 12 oz is the same product we got the first time directly from our vet except that this one is much more affordable. That's the only difference we can see. It is delivered promptly (but get your prescription in promptly because that takes a few days at first). The only thing I wish they had is an auto ship for products that are prescribed for life like this one has to be. We have a Great Dane so the amount we use of this product is a lot. I'm glad to have found a reliable supplier.

My Bassett Hound first developed Pancreatitis about 14 months ago. It became a recurring problem so we went to the specialist who recommended this supplement. She has done much better since then, with a couple of flare ups, but not as severe. The other key factor is diet. Low fat, not treats. We are pre- cooking the the Prescription Diet WD low fat canned food to remove even more of the fat. The price from VetDepot is less than 1/2 the cost from the Vet.

<p>Took our vet a while (IMHO) to come around to suggesting this as the remedy for our German Shephard who was having severe digestive issues / weight loss / wekaness. She's coming around to health again. We (had to, for lack of supply) take her off the med for a few days and symptoms (runny undigested stool) reappeared, and cleared up right away when we could resume the med. I think she will do just fine with this medecine hopefully for a few years. (She is 11+ yr old.)</p>
