After the 1st day I could see a difference in my lab. At 12 yrs old he could hardly walk up the stairs. A couple days after taking Novox he was bounding up them with a smile on his face. He's glad to feel good again too. You save so much money buying it this way.

<p>My yellow lab, Buddy, is a 6 and 1/2 year old, 109 pound yellow lab. He has always been a pedal-to-the-metal kind of dog until repeated muscle pulls and recently maybe a little dysplasia diagnosed by our vet left him a broken down old dog just like me. I was told about Rimadyl by my daughter-in-law, who calls it "doggy meth" because of the profoundly positive effects it had on her old dog. I would walk my dog for a couple of blocks (less than 1/2 mile) and he would start limping around, favoring his right hindquarter, and limping on the other three legs. So, I tried this generic version Carprofen. After theedays, it is truly amazing, Buddy now jumps around and plays like he did before his injuries, and doesn't limp around on three legs like he was doing. I must confess though, I am only giving him one 100mg caplet per day, rather than 2 per day as recommended for his size. And it is still working great. I am not an over-medicator, so I will continue this dosage until it is no longer effective. My daughter-in-law's dog has been taking this drug for at least 6 years, so long-term usage is ok, and she is just now showing her age (16+) and slowing down considerably. But this stuff works great and Buddy is back to chasing rabbits again, what a dumb dog!</p>

I had run out of Novox for a few days after having had my dog on the drug for the past six months. It was so obvious that he was in need of his medication. I felt like such a bad parent. I run Majesty Rottweiler Rescue Inc. and have used Novox for years with several of our fosters and also my personal dogs, right now Louie an 11 year old male Rottie in remission with Lymphoma and has been taking this product since 2002 for arthritis, we do a liver test every 6 months and Louie's is great, no issues at all and he is able to walk without pain. I wish I knew about this product a long time ago! I have been using the chewable tablets for my dog for the past year and the expenses were really adding up..I saw this online and ordered it saving about 150.00 dollars every three months. They are smaller than I thought they would be and smell like chocolate, I just add them to my dogs food and he gobbles them up.

I tried Novox for my dog because they were less expensive than the chewable ones. I was concerned that they might be hard to give her because they are not chewable. But they are small and easy for her to take. They break in half easily for smaller doses. And they seem to be as effective.

I was very pleased with the price, speed of shipping and the actual product. This generic drug works every bit as good as the branded one. My dog needs this to be comfortable every day. Thank you VET Depot!
