Made from padded nylon with a deep sheepskin insert and three mesh panels for ventilation. Fits dogs up to 22 lbs. We actually carried around out two "rescue" kitties in one of these carriers -- until, with the passage of time (just one short year!), our Desi turned virtually into a barn cat! At over 15 pounds, he squeezed out his twin, Lucy, whenever we had to carry them both to the vet. What necessitated our purchase of the second carrier is the arrival of hurricane season. Since we live on an island in Biscayne Bay, we ready emergency get-away supplies every season. Thus, the second carrier so we can get both cats comfortably off the island in case of crisis! A hurricane would be trauma enough, but cramming both cats into one case was an untenable proposition in a life-threatening emergency! So far, no hurricane getaway, but the season is young... Nonetheless, we -- and the cats -- are prepared!
