Ease pain and discomfort in dogs with Rimadyl 75mg
Rimadyl (Carprofen) 75mg, 180 Chewable Tablets belong to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class of pet medications. It is commonly prescribed to ease discomfort caused by canine arthritis or to control pain following orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures.
Even though there is no cure for osteoarthritis, many dogs have shown vast improvements while on Rimadyl. Many of them return to previous activity levels and are able to move around without pain. There is a reason that Rimadyl is the number one NSAID prescribed to treat pain in dogs. It's easy to administer and shown to be clinically effective.
For oral administration, the manufacturer's recommended dose is 2 mg of Rimadyl per 1 lb of bodyweight (4.4 mg/kg) given every 24 hours. However, the dose can be divided and given every 12 hours as 1 mg per 1 lb of bodyweight (2.2 mg/kg). However, always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions for administering Rimadyl to your pet.
Remember, Rimadyl Caplets and Chewable Tablets are for use in dogs only. Do not administer to cats or other animals. Keep out of reach of pets and children.
