Fatty Acids for Dogs and Cats

OmegaDerm is a nutritional supplement for the management of dermatitis and to promote skin and coat health. It contains the recommended ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids, at 5:1. The included omega-6 fatty acids are linoleic acid (LA) and gammalinolenic acid (GLA); the included omega-3 fatty acids are eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). OmegaDerm is also formulated with vitamins A and E. The highly palatable product is pre-dosed in individual packets.

Use as recommended by your veterinarian.

Directions:

  1. Tear or cut along the perforation to open 1 individual, pre-dosed packet.
  2. Squeeze packet contents onto food and mix thoroughly.
  3. Give 1 packet per day over the course of 4 weeks for nutritional support of skin conditions.
  4. Give 1 packet every other day over the course of 8 weeks for general maintenance.

Frequency of Use:

Use the helpful dosing reminder wheel on the back of the box. Select the circle that represents your veterinarian's recommended frequency of use. Cross out the current day following administration. Continue to do so for the duration of treatment, which is 4 weeks for daily dosing and 8 weeks for every-other-day dosing.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Store OmegaDerm in its original packets at controlled room temperature.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

A proper balance of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids is important to the strength and overall health of the skin and coat. OmegaDerm provides this proper balance. Additionally, the included omega-3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), help reduce superficial inflammation and the presence of dermatitis. OmegaDerm is also fortified with antioxidant vitamins A and E for further nutritional support of the skin and coat. These nutrients are also important for keeping the skin's defenses operating properly.

Keep OmegaDerm out of reach of children and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.

OmegaDerm is only intended for cats and dogs. Do not give to other animals. Do not use in humans.

Use as advised by your veterinarian.

CAUTION: Facial swelling, hives, itching, rash, difficulty breathing, seizures, sudden-onset diarrhea, vomiting, and coma are some signs of an allergic reaction. Seek emergency veterinary treatment.

Consult your veterinarian before administering other supplements or drugs while your pet is being given OmegaDerm.
