Bordetella Vaccine for Cats
Nobivac Feline-Bb is a Bordetella bronchiseptica vaccine. It immunizes cats against this bacterial
infection, protecting against related upper respiratory ailments. Nobivac
Feline-Bb is thimerosal-free. The vaccine is supplied in desiccated
form with an accompanying sterile diluent for reconstitution.

before use.
For use by or under the close supervision of a veterinarian.
Directions:
- Aseptically reconstitute the desiccated vaccine with
the included sterile diluent. Shake well.
- Use rehydrated vaccine immediately.
- Administer 0.2 mL intranasally in one nostril with
a non-chemically sterilized syringe and applicator.
Frequency of Use:
Vaccinate healthy kittens at least 4 weeks of age
prior to confinement or other risk of exposure. Protection at this age
is established within 3 weeks of administration. Vaccinate healthy cats
or kittens at 8 weeks of age or older prior to confinement or other
risk of exposure. At this age, immunity is established within 72 hour
of administration. Annual revaccination is recommended at the veterinarian's
discretion.
Storage:
Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Refrigerate Nobivac Feline-Bb between 35 and 45 degrees
F. Do not freeze.
It is a violation of Federal
Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Nobivac Feline-Bb contains avirulent live cultures
of Bordetella bronchiseptica bacteria. By introducing this form of the pathogen
to a cat's immune system, the immune system is taught to recognize
and eliminate the threat in the event of subsequent invasion.
Warnings:
Keep Nobivac Feline-Bb out of reach of children and
animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.
Dispose of containers and unused product by incineration.
Nobivac Feline-Bb is only intended for use in healthy
cats and kittens at least 4 weeks old.
For intranasal administration only. Do not administer
via any other route.
CAUTION: As with most vaccines, an anaphylactic
reaction is possible. Treat with epinephrine and other appropriate supportive
therapies.
Use reconstituted vaccine promptly; do not store.
Administration equipment must not be sterilized with
chemical agents, as they can render the vaccine ineffective.
Use only in healthy animals. Administering when an
animal is incubating an illness, stressed, infected with a parasite,
malnourished, or otherwise immunocompromised will often fail to achieve
immunity.
Successful immunization depends on adherence to label
instructions and precautionary statements.
