    This prescription thyroid medication is designed to provide thyroid replacement therapy for dogs with Hypothyroidism, and comes in 0.7 mg chewable tablets. Dogs with Hyperthyroidism or other thyroid deficiencies are often lacking adequate levels of levothyroxine (T4) and liothyronine (T3) hormones, both of which are offered in each of these 0.7 mg tablets. The recommended dose of this medication is 0.1 mg per 10 pounds of bodyweight twice daily, or one tablet per 70 pounds.
