Stop Dog and Cat Bleeding
Kwik-Stop is a styptic powder that is used as an aid to stop external bleeding in dogs, cats, and birds. Kwik-Stop can help stop bleeding caused by clipping or trimming nails, docking tails, trimming beaks, and minor cuts and scrapes.

from nail and beak trimming, tail docking, and minor superficial wounds.
It is safe for use on cats, dogs, and caged birds. Kwik-Stop contains
a topical anesthetic for pain relief.

Directions:
- Put product on bleeding site with moistened cotton-tipped
applicator.
- Apply constant moderate pressure with the applicator
for 5 to 10 seconds.

Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Ferric subsulfate, one of the active ingredients
in Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder, causes tissue to contract to stop bleeding.
The product also contains benzocaine, a local anesthetic used for topical
pain relief.
