Pet Medicated Shampoo and Chlorhexidine Flush

Hexadene Shampoo and Flush are medicated products for the treatment of an array of bacterial and fungal skin infections and other skin conditions that benefit from topical application of antiseptic medication. They are designed for slow-release treatment and to bolster surface protection against bacteria and fungi. Hexadene Flush contains the same active ingredients as the shampoo with the addition of a second antiseptic for increased effects.

Hexadene Shampoo and Hexadene Flush are topical antiseptic cleansers and deodorizers that treat a variety of bacterial and fungal skin infections. The shampoo provides a full-body cleanse and is for use on cats and dogs; the flush, which imparts a pleasant floral fragrance, is used on cats, dogs, and horses. In addition, these products contain ingredients that slowly release the antiseptic medications for long-term effects and that form a protective film over the skin and coat for superior protection.

Benefits of Hexadene:

  • Provides broad-spectrum antibacterial and antifungal action
  • Treats microbial infections and conditions responsive to topical antiseptics
  • Available as a shampoo for thorough treatment and as a flush for convenient targeted treatment of problematic areas
  • Contains Spherulites for slow-release of antiseptic ingredients
  • Contains chitosanide to build a protective barrier between the skin and hair and the environment
  • Quickly resolves skin problems to prevent discomfort and self-inflicted injury from excessive scratching on cats and dogs

Hexadene Shampoo is for use on cats and dogs. Hexadene Flush is for cats, dogs, and horses. Do not apply to other animals. Do not use on any animal for which it was not prescribed. Not for use on humans.

Hexadene Flush also contains triclosan, another antibacterial and antifungal agent, for stronger and broader-ranging treatment.
