GentaVed is a line of pet meds that treat dermatitis conditions like hot spots, skin infections, otitis externa, and related inflammation in dogs and cats. Both GentaVed Otic and Topical Spray contain Gentamicin and Betamethasone to kill bacteria and reduce inflammation.

GentaVed products combine an antibiotic with a corticosteroid in easily administered forms to treat infections and associated inflammation. GentaVed combines two active ingredients, gentamicin sulfate and betamethasone valerate, for dual-action treatment. Gentamicin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that kills bacteria causing infections. It does so by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria so they cannot grow or reproduce. Betamethasone is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory effects.
