GentaVed combines two active ingredients, gentamicin sulfate and betamethasone valerate, for dual-action treatment. Gentamicin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that kills bacteria causing infections. It does so by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria so they cannot grow or reproduce. Betamethasone is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory effects.
