Read all manufacturer-provided instructions and precautionary
statements before using this product on any horse.
Use as recommended by your veterinarian.
Directions:
- Remove 1 tube from the 3-pack by folding and tearing
along the perforated line. Return remaining tubes to their safe storage
location.
- Point the notched end of the tube upward and away
from your face. Break off the narrow end at the notches.
- Apply 5 mL of product in a line down the back, starting
at the top of the head behind the ears (poll), down the mane's base, down the dorsal midline, to the base of the
tail (dock).
- Apply 1 mL to the top of the forehead beneath the
forelock.
- Apply 1 mL stripes up the back of each foreleg, from
the ankle to the knee.
- Apply 1 mL stripes up the back of each hindleg, from
the ankle to the hock.
- Wrap used tube and dispose of in the trash.
- Wash hands well with soap and warm water.
Frequency of Use:
Equi-Spot may be reapplied every 14 days.
Storage:
Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Store Equi-Spot in a cool, dry location. Do not freeze.
It is a violation of Federal
Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.
Equi-Spot is only for horses and foals at least 12
weeks old. Do not apply to other animals. Not for use on humans.
CAUTION: Not for use on horses intended
for consumption.
Avoid contact with horse's eyes, nose, mouth, and
mucous membranes when applying this product.
Wash hands after handling and before eating, drinking,
chewing gum, or smoking a tobacco product.
Harmful to humans if swallowed or absorbed through
the skin. Remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin with water for
15 to 20 minutes. Eye irritant. Flush eyes well for 15 to 20 minutes
with clean water, removing contact lenses after the first 5 minutes.
Contact a doctor or poison control center immediately if ingested or
in the event of eye or skin exposure. Have the product label available
when seeking medical advice.
Ask your veterinarian about using Equi-Spot on an
elderly, medicated, debilitated, pregnant, nursing, or breeding horse,
or on a horse with any organ dysfunction.
Consult your veterinarian before concomitantly using
any other drug or supplement.
As with application of any pesticide, sensitivities
may occur. Equi-Spot may cause lethargy or adverse effects at the site
of application, including redness, itchiness, rash, hair discoloration,
or hair loss.
If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe horse with a
mild, non-insecticidal shampoo and plenty of water. Consult your veterinarian
if irritation persists.
Equi-Spot is extremely toxic to fish. Do not contaminate
water with storage, use, or disposal of this product.
Do not reuse empty tubes. Wrap and put in trash or
offer for recycling where possible. Do not pour unused product down
any indoor or outdoor drain. Contact your local solid waste agency for
disposal instructions for unused product.
