Deworming Pet Meds for Dogs & Cats

Droncit (Praziquantel) canine and feline cestocide tablets are used to treat tapeworm infestations in dogs and cats. Droncit is a single-ingredient wormer that removes tapeworms. Oral tablets are available for cats and for dogs, and there is also an injectable form safe for use in both cats and dogs.

Droncit removes tapeworms from the intestinal tract. Separate tablets are available for cats and dogs, and an injectable form is also available for both species. Unlike many other wormers that contain multiple ingredients to treat several types of intestinal parasites, Droncit contains only one ingredient to treat only tapeworms. This prevents ingestion of unnecessary medications for fewer risks.

Benefits of Droncit:

  • Eliminates tapeworm infections and associated symptoms
  • Effective with a single dose
  • Different tablets for cats and dogs for dosing convenience
  • Easily administered scored oral tablets that can be given directly or crumbled and added to food
  • Available as an intramuscular or subcutaneous injection as an alternative to oral administration
  • Contains only one active ingredient
  • No known contraindications

Droncit Canine is only for use in dogs. Droncit Feline is only for use in cats. Droncit Injectable is only for use in cats and dogs. Do not administer to other animals. Give this medication only to animals for which it was prescribed. Not for use in humans.
