Helps my itchy kitty!

I've tried everything to help my older cat who has horrible itchy skin. She has bad military dermatitis all over and constantly bit and pulled her skin and was going bald on her back. There would be little furry scabs everywhere - Gross! I could tell she was miserable. When I pet her in certain areas she would jump and her skin would twitch. I looked on line and found this medicine (I bought it at Walmart for a 3rd of the price) and cut it in half. Put the 1/2 in a Greenies chicken pill pocket (I got them from Petsmart) and my picky little fur baby gobbled it up. I could never get her to take pills any other way! I was shocked! Within a couple hours she seemed to be more relaxed and no more excessive scratching, biting/pulling of skin...she did seem a little sleepy during the first couple hours, but definitely happy and calm. So far I give her a 1/2 every day and it seems to last all day. Her hair is growing back and the miliary dermatitis seems to be going away as well. I'm so glad I could provide some relief and now I can get some sleep at night without her waking me up attacking her skin constantly. I would definitely try this for your pet.

I have three dogs which I keep on this antihistamine and it does wonders for runny eyes and grass allergies. I have a Yorkie, a Silky and a Min Pin and I keep them those six little eyes staring up at me crystal clear by using this medicine on them. I would recommend it for anyone to try.

We have a large, feral cat who adopted us 3 years ago. About a year ago, we noticed he was shaking his head frequently and had scabs about his head, ears and neck. We managed to capture him and take him to the vet. She recommended changing his diet (We did. No change.) She then recommended this medication. Started out splitting the pill, half in the a.m., half in the p.m. The head shaking got a bit better, but wasn't gone. I upped the medication to one whole pill in a.m., one in p.m. It was on the second day of this dosage that he found the hidden pills in the cheese and stopped eating the cheese. I had noticed a reduction in the head shaking in those two days. Have since ordered Greenie's Feline Pill Pockets and am waiting for those to continue the medication. The head shaking returned within a day, as did the scabs from scratching. So sad for my kitty! Hope he doesn't find the pills in the pill pockets because then I won't know what to do.
