Bio Spot Spot on Flea and Tick Control is a topical formula for repelling fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes, controlling flea infestations, and preventing heartworm disease and other health problems associated with these insects. Bio Spot Spot On is most effective when used as part of a comprehensive flea and tick control program.

Bio Spot Sprays and Shampoos protect your pet by controlling ticks, fleas, and flea larvae to eliminate infestation and prevent bites that transmit lyme disease and other illnesses. When used as part of a comprehensive flea and tick control program, Bio Spot products effectively keep your home and animal safe from fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes.

For external use only. Do not use Bio Spot for Dogs products on cats or kittens. Do not use Bio Spot for Cats products on dogs or puppies.

Bio Spot for Dogs is potentially fatal if ingested by cats. Do not allow cats to groom recently treated dogs.

Directions for Cats and Kittens:

1. Bend one applicator at the perforation and tear away from remaining applicators.
2. Snap the tip of the applicator back while holding the applicator upright and away from your body and face.
3. Lift your cat's coat on the back of the neck to expose the skin.
4. Place the applicator tip onto your cat's exposed skin and squeeze the product into your cat's skin. Use the entire contents of the applicator.
5. Do not bathe your cat for at least 24 hours following treatment and do not allow cats to groom each other following application until the product is completely dry.

Directions for Dogs and Puppies:

1. Bend one applicator at the perforation and tear away from remaining applicators.
2. Snap the tip of the applicator back while holding the applicator upright and away from your body and face.
3. Lift your dog's coat on the back of the neck to expose the skin.
4. Place the applicator tip on your dog's skin, between the shoulder blades.
5. Apply 1/2 of the product.
6. Place the applicator tip on your dog's skin at the base of the tail.
7. Apply the remaining product.
8. Apply the product to three spots when using on large dogs (over 60 lbs.). Apply 1/3 at the base of the neck, apply 1/3 to the middle of the back, and apply 1/3 of the product to the base of the tail.

Bio Spot Shampoo Directions:

1. Use full strength or dilute with 2 parts water.
2. Thoroughly wet your animal's coat with warm water.
3. Apply shampoo to the head and ears, keeping away from the eye area. Lather.
4. Apply shampoo to the neck, chest, middle, and hindquarters. Then, apply to legs. Lather.
5. Massage the shampoo into your pet's coat for 3 to 5 minutes.
6. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if your pet is very dirty.

Frequency of Use:

Use this product once per month. Do not apply more often.

Storage:

Store Bio Spot in a dry, cool location. Do not reuse empty applicators.

Call your local solid waste agency for instructions on disposing of partly filled containers. Do not place down outdoor or indoor drains.

This product is combustible. Do not store or use near heat or flame.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

One active ingredient in Bio Spot Spot On for Cats, Etofenprox, kills adult fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. The other active ingredient, (S)-Methoprene, is an insect growth regulator that works to prevent and treat flea infestations by preventing eggs from maturing into adult fleas. Bio Spot for Dogs contains (S)-Methoprene and Permethrin, an insecticide and insect repellent.

Consult your veterinarian before using Bio Spot on aged, pregnant, nursing, or medicated animals.

Tell your veterinarian if your pet is currently taking any supplement or medication before beginning therapy with this product. Pesticides can interact with certain medications.

If sensitivity occurs, bathe your pet with a mild shampoo and rinse well. Consult your veterinarian for advice.

If this products gets on your skin during application, remove contaminated clothing and rinse your skin with clean water for 20 minutes. Call your doctor or a poison control center.
