Natural Salmon Oil Supplement Medication for Dogs and Cats

Welactin 3 is a fish oil nutritional supplement. Welactin 3 products provide dogs, cats, and horses with health-promoting omega-3 fatty acids. These compounds can enhance the condition and appearance of an animal's skin and coat, help maintain joints, and support kidney, heart, nervous system, and immune system functioning.

Although Welactin 3 fish oil supplements are available over the counter, consult your veterinarian about proper use.

Directions for Welactin 3 Canine Liquid Administration:

1. Unscrew cap and remove seal at first use.
2. Dose with the manufacturer-provided graduated spoon.
3. Give 1/2 spoonful every other day to dogs weighing less than 20 lbs.
4. Give 1/2 spoonful every day to dogs weighing 20-40 lbs.
5. Give 1 spoonful every day to dogs weighing 40-80 lbs.
6. Give 1 1/2 spoonfuls every day to dogs weighing 80-120 lbs.
7. Give 2 spoonfuls every day to dogs weighing more than 120 lbs.
8. Pour the supplement over your dog's food.

Directions for Welactin 3 Canine and Feline Softgel Capsule Administration:

1. Give dogs 1 softgel capsule daily per every 20 lbs. of body weight.
2. Administer the capsule directly, put it in food, or puncture the capsule and apply the liquid to food.
3. Twist off the cap from the feline softgel capsule.
4. Apply the contents of 1 capsule to your cat's food daily.

Directions for Welactin 3 Equine Liquid Administration:

1. Tip bottle to fill the built-in measuring compartment with supplement.
2. Give your horse 1 oz per day.
3. Give breeding stallions and gestating and lactating mares 2 oz. per day.

Frequency of Use:

Dogs under 20 lbs. should receive Welactin 3 Canine liquid supplement every other day. All other Welactin 3 doses are administered daily.

Storage:

Keep Welactin 3 products in their original containers and out of reach of children and animals.

Store Welactin 3 Canine liquid and both softgel products at room temperature, protected from heat and light. Store Welactin 3 Equine tightly sealed in the refrigerator, if possible; otherwise, keep cool and out of direct sunlight.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Welactin 3 Canine liquid supplement is sold in 240 mL (8 oz) and 480 mL (16 oz) bottles. One teaspoon (5 mL) provides a total of 1,300 mg* omega-3 fatty acids, consisting of 775 mg eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)** and 525 mg docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)**. Welactin 3 Canine is processed to prevent breakdown of the omega-3 fatty acids and is packaged to maintain freshness.

Welactin 3 Canine softgels are sold in packages of 120 capsules. Each softgel capsule provides a total of 270 mg* omega-3 fatty acids, consisting of 165 mg eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)** and 105 mg docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)**.

Welactin 3 Feline softgels are sold in packages of 60 capsules. Each softgel capsule provides a total of 250 mg* omega-3 fatty acids, consisting of 150 mg eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)** and 100 mg docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)**.

Welactin 3 Equine liquid supplement is sold in a 950 mL (32 oz) tip-and-measure bottle. Every 30 mL (1 fl oz) provides a total of 7.5 g (7,500 mg) omega-3 fatty acids, consisting of 4.5 g (4,500 mg) eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 3.0 g (3,000 mg) docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

Welactin 3 Canine softgel capsule ingredients: fish oil, gelatin, glycerin, water, natural peppermint oil, tocopherols

Welactin 3 Feline softgel capsule ingredients: fish oil, tocopherols, gelatin, glycerin, water, zinc oxide, annatto extract color, carmine color

Welactin 3 Equine ingredients: salmon oil, fish oil, natural peppermint oil, mixed tocopherols, mono- and diglycerides, soybean oil, citric acid, rosemary extract, sunflower oil

Warnings:

Keep this product out of reach of children and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.

Do not give Welactin 3 products to any animal for which they are not intended. Not for use in humans.

Use as instructed by your veterinarian.

CAUTION: Allergic reactions to Welactin 3 are possible. Common signs include itching, rash, hives, facial swelling, and others. Seek emergency veterinary care.
