L-Lysine HCl Nutritional Supplement

Viralys^® is a highly palatable powder that may be sprinkled over dry food or mixed with a small amount of canned food.

ADMINISTRATION: Each 322 mg (one rounded scoop) contains approximately 250 mg of L-Lysine in a palatable base. The suggested dose for cats over 6 months of age is one rounded scoop given orally twice daily. The suggested dose for kittens under 6 months of age is 1/2 scoop given orally twice daily. Adjust dosage as recommended by your veterinarian.

INGREDIENTS: L-Lysine in a palatable flavor base.

USE: For use in cats and kittens as a nutritional supplement for conditions responsive to Lysine.

Viralys was originally recommended to me by our primary vet about 6 yrs ago for one of our 7 kitties who has chronic Herpes of the respiratory tract. I really believe it has made a significant difference in his condition by boosting his resistance and reducing the frequency of his symptoms (draining eyes, sneezing, terrible nasal congestion). We have been giving it to all of our little guys since. It's easy to use - just sprinkle a little scoopful on their food bowls twice a day. I truly believe it has helped each one of them as well. I am also pleased with the service that I have gotten from VetDepot staff!
