Vetmedin 1.25 mg, 50 Chewable Tablets is a pimobendan medication that is used to treat some types of congestive heart failure in dogs. I've been warned by my vet to be careful ordering medications online, but this product is the exact same one I get from my vet. It comes in a sealed container inside its box, but the best thing is, it is just about half of my vet's price. I also looked at other online pet medicine sites and they were all a lot higher than VetDepot. Ordering was easy and it came right away.
After putting my dog on this product he has improved so much that he is still with us. We was advived by another vet to have him put down, but at the time I tried another vet who had us order this product. He is still with us and doing really well.

This med has stopped the progression of CHF and we hope to have much more time with our adopted fur person! He will not chew the med as directed so we put it in a ball of Velveta cheese - he loves his "Cookie" now. My 15 year old dog has an enlarged heart and his health was failing rapidly. My vet put him on Vetmedin and his health has improved amazingly. He is still going strong 6 months later and will be with us for quite a while longer. Miracle drug for my dog.

When our Bichon/Maltese was 12 he was diagnosed with a heart murmur and an enlarged heart. The Vet prescribed Vetmedin 1.25. He now is almost 13 and acts like a puppy most of the time. The pill is easy to give (I wrap it in peanut butter). VetDepot is great to deal with--they are polite and always send the pills right away.
My dog is 15 and was diagnosed with an enlarged heart which was pressing on his trachea causing him to have difficulty breathing. When we brought him to the vet they put him on Vetmedin and WOW! after a few days he was back to himself and his prognosis is good for him to live actively for sometime more. It actually saved his life. I'm sure this may not be typical but it bought us some extra time with our precious little dog.
