Urocit-K is only for cats and dogs. Do not administer
to other animals. Not for use in humans.

Dosing varies depending on blood test values and
other factors. Use exactly as prescribed by your veterinarian.
- Dose your pet as prescribed.
- Place tablets at the back of your pet's throat; Urocit-K must be swallowed whole. Do not
break, crumble, add to food, or give in a manner that encourages chewing.
- Give doses with food to prevent or minimize gastrointestinal
- Provide plenty of fresh water for your pet.
Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Store Urocit-K at room temperature. Protect from
heat and moisture.
It is a violation of Federal
Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Urocit-K supplies potassium citrate to reduce the
acidity of the urine, which makes the formation of urinary tract stones
less likely. The potassium citrate is absorbed from a shell that is
passed in the stool, so do not be alarmed if you see it there.

Administer this product in accordance with your veterinarian's
CAUTION: Potassium citrate supplementation
may cause hyperkalemia (high potassium levels). Signs may include diarrhea,
vomiting, muscle weakness, and heart arrhythmia.
The above symptoms, as well as paralysis and heart
attack, may indicate an overdose. If you know of or suspect an overdose,
contact your veterinarian immediately.
Not for use in pets with hyperkalemia, kidney failure,
or Addison's disease. Tell your veterinarian if your pet has diabetes,
a severe infection or illness, a UTI, a stomach ulcer, or an intestinal
obstruction. Do not use in dehydrated animals.
Use with caution in cats and dogs taking NSAIDs or
ACE inhibitors. Tell your veterinarian if your pet is taking a potassium-sparing
diuretic or any supplement containing potassium.
This product contains a shell that is passed in the
stool. Its appearance in the stool is expected and is not an indication
that the potassium citrate was not absorbed.
Talk to your veterinarian before administering any
other supplements or medications concomitantly with Urocit-K. Do not
give other supplements containing potassium.
